कोरोना की दहशत : ट्यूलिप गार्डन में खिले लाखों फूल, निहारने वाला कोई नहीं

श्रीनगर। जम्मू कश्मीर के इतिहास में यह शायद पहला मौका है कि एशिया के दूसरे नम्बर के ट्यूलिप गार्डन में लाखों ट्यूलिप खिले हुए हैं पर उन्हें निहारने वाला कोई नहीं है। ट्यूलिप गार्डन में मार्च के अंतिम सप्ताह में फूल खिलते हैं। ट्यूलिप गार्डन की किस्मत में ऐसा नहीं था कि कोई पर्यटक उसे निहारता क्योंकि इसे मार्च के अंतिम सप्ताह में खोला जाना था पर अभी तक खोला नहीं जा सका। ऐसे में दुखद पहलू ट्यूलिप गार्डन का यही कहा जा सकता है कि इस बार ट्यूलिपों को खिलता हुआ शायद ही कोई देख पाए।

दरअसल देश मे लॉकडाउन से कई दिन पहले ही जम्मू कश्मीर में बाग-बगीचों को बंद कर दिया गया था। जानकारी के लिए अगर देश में लाकडाउन का आज 24वां दिन था कश्मीर में कोरोना की दहशत के कारण 30 दिनों से ही कर्फ्यू लगाया जा चुका था। यही कारण था कि ट्यूलिप गार्डन में खिलने वाले ट्यूलिप के फूलों और बादामबाड़ी में बादामों के पेड़ों पर खिलने वाले फूलों को निहारने वाले बंद कमरों से सिर्फ खुदा से कोरोना से निजात पाने की दुआएं ही कर रहे थे।

पर्यटन विभाग के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, कश्मीर में बहार का आगाज परंपरागत रूप से अप्रैल में ही होता है। इसे इस बार कोरोना की दहशत के कारण नहीं खोला जा सका है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीते साल जो हालात रहे हैं, उससे कश्मीर के पर्यटन को खूब नुकसान पहुंचा है। हम पर्यटन क्षेत्र को पुनः पटरी पर लाने के लिए, देशी-विदेशी सैलानियों को कश्मीर में लाने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठा ही रहे थे कि कोराना ने दस्तक दे दी। हालांकि उन्हें उम्मीद है कि कोरोना के खत्म होते ही आने वाला पर्यटन सीजन पूरी तरह हिट रहेगा और पर्यटन जगत से जुड़े स्थानीय लोगों को इसका पूरा लाभ मिलेगा।

वे कहते हैं कि कि इस बार मौसम में बदलाव के कारण ट्यूलिप के पूरे फूल मार्च के पहले पखवाड़े में ही खिलने शुरू हो गए थे। कुछ किस्में पूरी तरह से खिल चुकी हैं, जबकि कुछ अगले एक दो हफ्ते तक खिल जाएंगी। तापमान भी बिलकुल अनुकूल था।इस बार फूलों की कुछ और नई किस्में उगाई हैं जिनमें स्टरांग गोल्ड, टूरिजमा,पपर्ल फ्लेग आदि है। बीते साल गार्डन में केवल चार टेरिस गार्डन थे, लेकिन इस साल दो और टेरिस गार्डन तैयार किए गए हैं।

पर्यटन विभाग के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, कश्मीर में बहार का आगाज परंपरागत रूप से अप्रैल में ही होता है। इसे इस बार कोरोना की दहशत के कारण नहीं खोला जा सका है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीते साल जो हालात रहे हैं, उससे कश्मीर के पर्यटन को खूब नुकसान पहुंचा है। हम पर्यटन क्षेत्र को पुनः पटरी पर लाने के लिए, देशी-विदेशी सैलानियों को कश्मीर में लाने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठा ही रहे थे कि कोराना ने दस्तक दे दी। हालांकि उन्हें उम्मीद है कि कोरोना के खत्म होते ही आने वाला पर्यटन सीजन पूरी तरह हिट रहेगा और पर्यटन जगत से जुड़े स्थानीय लोगों को इसका पूरा लाभ मिलेगा।

वे कहते हैं कि कि इस बार मौसम में बदलाव के कारण ट्यूलिप के पूरे फूल मार्च के पहले पखवाड़े में ही खिलने शुरू हो गए थे। कुछ किस्में पूरी तरह से खिल चुकी हैं, जबकि कुछ अगले एक दो हफ्ते तक खिल जाएंगी। तापमान भी बिलकुल अनुकूल था।इस बार फूलों की कुछ और नई किस्में उगाई हैं जिनमें स्टरांग गोल्ड, टूरिजमा,पपर्ल फ्लेग आदि है। बीते साल गार्डन में केवल चार टेरिस गार्डन थे, लेकिन इस साल दो और टेरिस गार्डन तैयार किए गए हैं।

सिराजबाग हरवान-शालीमार और निशात चश्माशाही के बीच की जमीन पर करीब 700 कनाल एरिया में फैला हुआ है। यह तीन चरणों का प्रोजेक्ट है जिसके तहत अगले चरण में इसे 1360 और 460 कनाल भूमि और साथ में जोड़ी जानी है। शुरू-शुरू में इसे शिराजी बाग के नाम से पुकारा जाता था। असल में महाराजा के समय उद्यान विभाग के मुखिया के नाम पर ही इसका नामकरण कर दिया गया था। पर अब यह शिराज बाग के स्थान पर ट्यूलिप गार्डन के नाम से अधिक जाना जाने लगा है।

कहा जाता है कि 1947 से पहले सिराजद्दीन नामक एक व्यक्ति घाटी का मशहूर फल उत्पादक था। उसके पास 650 कनाल से ज्यादा जमीन पर फैला फलों का एक बाग था, जिसमें वह सेब, अखरोट, खुबानी और बादाम का उत्पादन किया करता था। ये बाग जब्रवान पहाड़ियों के दामन में स्थित था (जहां आजकल बाटोनिकल गार्डन और ट्यूलिप गार्डन है)। इस बाग का नाम उसके नाम से ही मशहूर था।

पास ही रहने वाले एक 70 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग अहमद गनेई ने उन दिनों को याद करते हुए बताया कि हम इस बाग को सिराज बाग के नाम से जानते थे। जहां पर हर तरफ सेब, अखरोट, बादाम और खुबानी के पेड़ फैले हुए थे। इस बाग की देखरेख खुद मलिक सिराजद्दीन को बरसे में मिली थी। कहा जाता है कि 1947 में भारत-पाक विभाजन के  दौरान मलिक सिराजद्दीन अपनी सारी संपत्ति को छोड़ परिवार सहित पाकिस्तान चला गया। उसके चले जाने के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने इस बाग पर कब्जा कर लिया और तकरीबन 13 वर्षों तक उनके कब्जे में रहने के बाद 1960 में कश्मीर के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री गुलाम मुहम्मद सादिक ने इस बाग को अपने कब्जे में ले लिया।

रोचक बात यह है कि पिछले साल ट्यूलिप गार्डन के आकर्षण में बंध कर आने वालों की भीड़ से चकित होकर कश्मीर के किसानों ने भी अब ट्यूलिप के फूलों की खेती में हाथ डाल लिया है। वे इस कोशिश में कामयाब भी हो रहे हैं कि जिन केसर क्यारियों में बारूद की गंध 30 सालों से महक रही हो वहां अब ट्यूलिप की खुशबू भी हो चाहे वह कम अवधि के लिए ही क्यों न हो।

रोचक बात यह है कि पिछले साल ट्यूलिप गार्डन के आकर्षण में बंध कर आने वालों की भीड़ से चकित होकर कश्मीर के किसानों ने भी अब ट्यूलिप के फूलों की खेती में हाथ डाल लिया है। वे इस कोशिश में कामयाब भी हो रहे हैं कि जिन केसर क्यारियों में बारूद की गंध 30 सालों से महक रही हो वहां अब ट्यूलिप की खुशबू भी हो चाहे वह कम अवधि के लिए ही क्यों न हो।

यह सच है कि अभी तक कश्मीर में डल झील और मुगल गार्डन- शालीमार बाग, निशात और चश्माशाही -ही आने वालों के आकर्षण का केंद्र थे और कश्मीर को दुनिया भर के लोग इसलिए जानते थे। लेकिन अब वक्त ने करवट ली तो ट्यूलिप गार्डन के कारण कश्मीर की पहचान बनती जा रही है। चाहे इसके लिए डल झील पर मंडराते खतरे से उत्पन्न परिस्थिति कह लिजिए या फिर मुगल उद्यानों की देखभाल न कर पाने के लिए पैदा हुए हालत की कश्मीर अब ट्यूलिप गार्डन के लिए जाना जाने लगा है।
