तीसरी लहर को लेकर सरकार का अलर्ट, तेजी से बढ़ रहा ओमिक्रॉन

देश में कोरोनावायरस (Coronavirus) के नए वेरिएंट ओमिक्रॉन (Omicron) के पहले वर्जन बीए.1 की तुलना में दूसरा वर्जन बीए.2 ज्यादा तेजी से फैल रहा है। इसे लेकर स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने आज कहा कि इसी की वजह से कोरोना संक्रमण में उछाल आया है। जनवरी में कोरोना के नमूनों के जीनोम अनुक्रमण में करीब 9672 ओमिक्रॉन स्वरूप के पाए गए, जो अनुक्रमित किए गए कुल नमूनों का 75 प्रतिशत है।

सरकार ने यह भी माना है कि ओमिक्रॉन के साथ साथ अभी भी देश में डेल्टा वेरिएंट के मामले बड़ी संख्या में हैं और उसके मामलों में भी तेजी आई है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा कि ओमिक्रॉन का एक उप-संस्करण जो कि ओमिक्रॉन BA.2 है भारत में अधिक देखने को मिल रहा है।

ओमिक्रॉन का पहला वैरिएंट बीए.1 फेफड़ों को ज्यादा नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाता इसलिए कई देशों में संक्रमण फैला मगर ज्यादा घातक नहीं हुआ। मगर जिन देशों में ओमिक्रॉन का दूसरा वैरिएंट फैल रहा है, वहां खतरा हो सकता है। देश में पहले लोग ओमिक्रॉन के पहले वैरिएंट से संक्रमित हुए थे, मगर अब दूसरा वैरिएंट ज्यादा तेजी से फैल रहा है।

जनवरी में, ओमिक्रॉन के 9,672 नमूने पाए गए, जो कुल अनुक्रमित नमूनों के 75 प्रतिशत हैं, जबकि एवाई लिनिएज 3,201 नमूनों में पाया गया और डेल्टा 1,578 में पाया गया। सिंह ने कहा कि डेल्टा स्वरूप ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल और महाराष्ट्र में अधिक पाया गया। उन्होंने कहा, ऐसा नहीं है कि हर जगह हम ओमिक्रॉन के ही मामले पा रहे हैं, हम डेल्टा स्वरूप के मामले भी पा रहे हैं जिससे प्रदर्शित होता है कि डेल्टा स्वरूप का असर पूरी तरह से खत्म नहीं हुआ है।
