वाट्सएप पर एक संदेश बहुत वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें नीले बॉर्डर से यह दिखाया गया है कि विश्व का एक भी शाकाहारी व्यक्ति कोरोना से ग्रस्त नहीं पाया गया- डब्ल्यूएचओ की रिपोर्ट।
इसके साथ ही इसमें बाईं तरफ डॉ. गुओडन गोलिआ, डब्ल्यूएचओ के रिप्रजेंटेटिव जका इनवर्टेड कोमा में एक संदेश है, जिसमें लिखा है कि 'As long as people eat meat, there is going to be some risk of infecton'। इस अंग्रेजी के वाक्य में कही भी कोरोना का जिक्र नहीं है। इस वाट्सएप वायरल में नवीन कुंदू का नाम दिखाई दे रहा है, वह भी फोटो सहित।
अब इस संदेश की जब पड़ताल की तो गूगल में अंग्रेजी के संदेश को डालकर जब हम देखते हैं तो पाते हैं कि वहां पर अनेक जानकारियां उलब्ध हैं। जब उन पर क्लिक करते है तो एक फेस बुक का लिंक खुलता है। एक फेसबुक लिंक में एक वीडियो भी दिखाया जा रहा है। इसके जारी होने की तारीख भी इसमें 15 फरवरी की है। एवं यह फेस बुक अकांउट Labanese Vegans के नाम से है, जिसका वाट्सएप संदेश में उल्लेख नहीं है।
प्रेस रिलीज वाले लिंक पर 15 फरवरी को कोई भी समाचार इस सबंध में जारी नहीं किया गया है। जिसमें कि अंग्रेजी का यह 'As long as people eat meat, there is going to be some risk of infecton' वाक्य हो। यदि कुछ देर के लिए इस वाक्य को मानें भी तो इसमें भी इन्फेक्शन के रिस्क के बारे में है। कोरोना से इन्फेक्शन के बारे में नहीं है।

वहीं, इस बारे में डॉक्टर्स से बातचीत की गई तो नाम नहीं छापने की शर्त पर उनका कहना है कि यह जरूरी नहीं है कि शाकाहारी व्यक्तियों में कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमण नहीं फैल सकता है। भारत में संक्रमितों की संख्या 35 हजार से ऊपर है एवं इनमें सारे के सारे तो मांसाहारी नहीं हो सकते है। हजारों लोग इनमें ऐसे है जो कि शाकाहारी हैं एवं ये कोरोना से संक्रमित हुए है। इसलिए इस प्रकार के वाट्सएप संदेशों के माध्यम से यह वायरल करना कि विश्व का एक भी शाकाहारी व्यक्ति कोरोना से ग्रस्त नहीं पाया गया, गलत होगा।
इसके साथ ही जब डॉक्टर से पूछा गया कि क्या शाकाहारी व्यक्ति में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता मांसाहारी व्यक्तियों से अधिक होती है। तो उनका कहना है कि ऐसा कहीं उल्लेख नहीं है एवं ऐसा नहीं है। रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता व्यक्ति के पौष्टिक खानपान, प्रतिदिन की कार्य करने की दिनचर्या सहित अनेक पहलू इसमें काम करते हैं।
यदि कोई शाकाहारी व्यक्ति जिसे पौष्टिक आहर नहीं मिल रहा है तो उसकी रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता अलग हो सकती है। इसके साथ ही एक मांसाहारी व्यक्ति पौष्टिक आहार ले रहा है तो उसकी रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता अलग हो सकती है। इसलिए यह कहना भी लाजमी नहीं होगा की शाकाहारी की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता मांसाहारी से अधिक होती है। यह पूर्णतया पौष्टिक आहार, रहन-सहन, प्रतिदिन की दिनचर्या आदि पर निर्भर है।

वहीं, विश्लेषण करने पर पाया गया है कि कहीं भी किसी प्रकार के रिसर्च सेंटर एवं मीडिया रिपोर्ट में भी इस प्रकार का कोई वक्तव्य जारी नहीं किया गया है कि शाकाहारी व्यक्तियों में कोरोना वायरस नहीं फैल सकता है। साथ ही ऐसी कोई रिपोर्ट भी अभि तक किसी ऐजेंसी, संस्थान ने भी जारी नहीं की है जिसमें तमाम कोरोना संक्रमित लोगों की लिस्ट मांसाहारी एवं शकाहारी के तौर पर जारी की गई है। इसलिए यह समाचार तथ्यहीन एवं भरोसे के लायक नहीं है।
दरअसल, ऐसा संदेश शाकाहारी लोगों में भ्रांति पैदा करेगा एवं उनको मानसिक तौर पर आश्वस्त करेगा कि उन्हें कोरोना का संक्रमण नहीं होगा। इसके चलते व्यक्ति लापरवाह हो सकता है और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग की पालना भी नहीं करेगा। इस तरह के संदेश कोरोना को और बढ़ा सकते हैं। अत: ऐसे समाचारों से भ्रमित होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। कोरोना से बचाव का एकमात्र उपाय घर में रहना और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग आदि का पालन करना है।
