Special Report : घटते प्रदूषण ने बढ़ाई Corona से लड़ने की ताकत

Lockdown के चलते देशभर में एक सकारात्मक चीज जो नजर आई है वह है प्रदूषण में गिरावट। मध्यप्रदेश की आर्थिक राजधानी इंदौर की ही बात करें तो हवा के महीन कणों के साथ-साथ गैसीय प्रदूषकों में भी अभूतपूर्व कमी आई है। इसका सबसे बड़ा फायदा यह हुआ है कि लोगों में कोरोना से लड़ने की ताकत बढ़ी है।

मप्र प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड, इंदौर के प्रभारी डॉ. दिलीप वागेला ने बताया कि इंदौर शहर में लॉक डाउन के चलते वायु प्रदूषण का स्तर सुधर कर अच्छी श्रेणी में आ गया है। शहर में वायु प्रदूषण का मुख्य स्रोत वाहन हैं। चूंकि कर्फ्यू जैसी स्तिथि के कारण शहर में सारी गतिविधियां रुक गई हैं, जिनमें समस्त वाहन, रेल, हवाई जहाज, होटल, उद्योग आदि भी शामिल हैं। इससे हवा के महीन कणों के साथ-साथ गैसीय प्रदूषकों में भी अभूतपूर्व कमी आई है।

वागेला ने बताया कि पीएम 2.5 की मात्रा तो अब तक के न्यूनतम स्तर 15 माइक्रोग्राम/घनमीटर तक पहुंच चुकी है, जो मानक से 75% कम है। पीएम 10 की मात्रा तो अब तक के न्यूनतम स्तर 30 माइक्रोग्राम/घनमीटर तक पहुंच चुकी है, जो मानक से 70% कम है। ऐसी स्तिथि केवल बारिश में कुछ समय के लिए निर्मित होती है। इतनी नियंत्रित व संतुलित पर्यावरणीय स्तिथि वास्तव में अभूतपूर्व है।

उन्होंने बताया कि एक और अच्छी ख़बर है कि कार्बन मोनो ऑक्साइड का उत्सर्जन भी बहुत कम हो गया है। इस प्रकार प्रदूषण मुक्त वायु में सांस लेना हमारे शरीर को संक्रमण से लड़ने की एक नई ऊर्जा प्रदान कर रहा है। जिससे हम सकारात्मक रहकर कोरोना वायरस से जीत सकते हैं, क्योंकि निर्मल वायु हमारे फेफड़ों को मजबूती प्रदान करेगी। कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड में पिछले दिनों के मुकाबले लगभग 60% कमी आई है। वहीं CO का स्तर मानकों से 75% कम रहा है।

इसी तरह इंदौर के नाक, कान, गला एवं एलर्जी रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. सुबीर जैन ने वेबदुनिया को बताया कि वाकई वायु गुणवत्ता में काफी सुधार हुआ है, जो कि सांसद और एलर्जी के मरीजों के लिए काफी फायदेमंद स्थिति है। इस माहौल में कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित मरीज भी जल्दी ठीक होंगे। डॉ. जैन ने बताया कि जब वायु की गुणवत्ता अच्छी होती है तो व्यक्ति का श्वसन तंत्र बेहतर तरीके से काम करता है।
