स्टिल अबॉउट सेक्शन 377 में 'गे कपल' गांव जा पहुंचता है : अमित खन्ना

इन दिनों वेब सीरिज़ को काफी पसंद किया जा रहा है और इसमें ऐसे विषय देखने को मिल रहे हैं जो कि टीवी या फिल्मों से अछूते रहे हैं। एलजीबीटी कम्यूनिटी पर आधारित 'ऑल अबॉउट सेक्शन 777' नामक वेब सीरिज आई थी अब इसका दूसरा सीज़न 'स्टिल अबॉउट सेक्शन 377' नाम से लेकर निर्देशक अमित खन्ना आ रहे हैं। यह एक ऐसा विषय है जिसके बारे में बहुत कम लोगों को जानकारी है।

अपनी बात आगे बढ़ाते हुए अमित कहते हैं 'इस बार ट्रांसजेंडर ट्रेक भी दिखाया गया है। यह शायद ही पहले किसी वेबसीरिज में दर्शाया गया हो। गांव के ट्रांसजेंडर के प्रति समाज का क्या दृष्टिकोण है इस सीरिज के माध्यम से पेश किया गया है।' 

अमित ने सीरिज़ बनाने के पूर्व काफी रिसर्च भी किया है। शहरी और ग्रामीणों की 'एलजीबीटी कम्यूनिटी' के प्रति सोच में क्या अंतर है? इस पर अमित बताते हैं 'शहरी लोग थोड़े-बहुत खुल गए हैं, लेकिन भारत के भीतरी इलाकों के लोग इस बारे में बिलकुल बात नहीं करते। उन्हें जानकारी भी नहीं है। वहां इस समुदाय के लोगों को सब कुछ छिपा कर रखना होता है।'

फिल्मों में एलजीबीटी समुदाय के लोगों का चित्रण अजीब तरीके से होता है। इस बारे में अमित कहते हैं 'आमतौर पर फिल्मों में 'गे' या 'लेस्बियन' को लेकर फूहड़ हास्य रचा जाता है। जब वे स्क्रीन पर आते हैं तो अजीब तरह का संगीत बजता है। इससे बहुत नुकसान पहुंचा है। आश्चर्य की बात तो यह है कि टीवी और फिल्म उद्योग के भी कुछ लोग एलजीबीटी कम्यूनिटी के हैं, लेकिन वे खुद बात को सही तरीके से पेश करने में घबराते हैं।' 

आपने बात कहने के लिए फिल्म या टीवी के बजाय वेबसीरिज का माध्यम क्यों चुना? पूछने पर अमित कहते हैं 'यहां बात कहने की भरपूर आजादी है। सेंसर जैसी कोई चीज नहीं है यहां पर। इसीलिए अब यह निर्देशकों का यह प्रिय माध्यम बनता जा रहा है।'
