एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री में दो प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर ज़्यादा ध्यान दिया जाता है- टेलीविज़न और फिल्म। दोनों ही इंडस्ट्री का अपना रोल है और अपनी पहचान। एक तरफ जहां टीवी कलाकार बॉलीवुड में फिल्में पाकर खुश होते हैं, वहीं दूसरी तरफ बॉलीवुड के भी सितारे छोटे परदे पर अपना जलवा बिखेरते हैं। लेकिन एंटरटेनमेंट में एक तीसरे प्लेटफॉर्म ने इस समय काफी हलचल मचा रखी है। इसकी सक्सेस ने सभी का ध्यान खींचा है। खास बात यह है कि इसमें टीवी कलाकार, बॉलीवुड सितारों के साथ नए कलाकार भी जुड़ते हैं और यह प्लेटफॉर्म हर तरह के मौके देता है।
यहां बात हो रही है डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म की। कुछ वर्षों पहले ही शुरू हुए इस प्लेटफोर्म ने देखते ही देखते इंडस्ट्री में अपनी इतनी जगह बना ली कि अब हर किसी का ध्यान पहले उसी पर जाता है। शॉर्ट फिल्मों से लेकर वेब-सीरिज़ तक यहां हर चीज़ मिल जाएगी। अब तक वेब-सीरिज़ का ज़माना था जो प्रोडक्शन हाउस अपने चैनल पर दिखाता है। अब नेटफ्लिक्स और अमेज़ॉन प्राइम जैसी विदेशी चैनल्स भी भारत की इन लाजवाब सीरिज़ को मौका दे रही है।
शुरू से बात करे तो टेलीविज़न पर फैमिली और मसाला कंटेंट चलता था। इसके बाद शुरू हुआ रियलिटी शोज़ का दौर। लेकिन डिजिटल इंडस्ट्री में ऐसा कंटेंट शामिल होता है जो साधारण सोच से अलग होता है।
दरअसल इसकी एक खासियत है कि लोग टीवी और सिनेमा सिर्फ एक जगह बैठकर ही देख पाते हैं। लेकिन यूट्युब और डिजिटल चैनल्स मोबाइल पर चलते हैं और मोबाइल का इस्तेमाल कोई भी, कहीं भी और कभी भी कर सकता है। ऐसे में सभी इसका फायदा उठाते हैं। साथ ही खास बात यह है कि इसमें हर जॉनर का और हर उम्र के लोगों के लिए कंटेंट शामिल है।
यूट्युब पर अपनी ही चैनल्स चलाने के बाद डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म का दौर आया। वहीं भारत में वेब सीरिज़ की शुरुआत की परमानेंट रूममेट्स और पिचर्स जैसे शोज़ ने की। इसके बाद शुरू हुए कुछ भारतीय चैनल्स जिन्होंने अपने खुद की वेब-सीरिज़ निकाली और दर्शकों का इसे अच्छा रिस्पांस मिला।
ऑल्ट बालाजी और टीवीएफ जैसे ऐप्स इसी डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म का उदाहरण है। इन ऐप्स पर दर्शक एक से बढ़कर एक वेब सीरिज़ देख सकते हैं। इसके कंटेंट से लेकर आर्टिस्ट्स, डायरेक्टर, प्रोड्यूसर्स, मेकर्स सभी को नया प्लेटफॉर्म मिलता है।
इसकी सक्सेस तब पता चल रही है जब इंटरनेशनल डिजिटल चैनल्स भी अब भारत का कंटेंट यानी सीरिज़ अपने चैनल दिखा रहे हैं। इसका सबसे बेहतरीन उदाहरण है हाल ही में आया 'सेक्रेड गेम्स' और ‘इनसाइ एज़। इन दोनों सीरिज़ को बहुत ज़्यादा पसंद किया गया है।

इसी के बास से नेटफ्लिक्स और अमेज़ॉन प्राइम ने लगातार भारत की सीरिज़ दिखाना शुरू कर दी। ब्रीथ, घोल, लस्ट स्टोरीज़ जैसी बेहतरीन सीरिज़ शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा बार्ड ऑफ ब्लड और बाहुबली बीफोर द बीगनिंग भी आने वाला है। इसमें बॉलीवुड के साथ ही टीवी जगत के सितारे भी होते हैं।
एकता कपूर ने टीवी और बॉलीवुड के अलावा डिजिटल में भी अपना वर्चस्व जमा रखा है। ऐसे ही शाहरुख खान भी बार्ड ऑफ ब्लड में प्रोड्यूसर के तौर पर होंगे। इसी तरह डिजिटल की सफलता देखकर लग रहा है कि अब ज़माना इसी का है। जहां तक बात है इंटरनेशनल चैनल्स पर भारतीय कंटेंट की, तो अब यह रूकने वाला नहीं। नए कलाकारों को भी इसमें मौका मिल रहा है और युवा टैलेंट अब यही हाथ आज़माने की कोशिश करेगा। डिजिटल स्पेस में बहुत कुछ आना अभी बाकी है दोस्तों।
