श्रीलंका में हुए आत्मघाती हमले को झेलने वाले लोगों ने बीबीसी से अपने अनुभव साझा किए हैं। ईस्टर रविवार को हुए इन सिलसिलेवार धमाकों में चर्चों और होटलों को निशाना बनाया गया है।
राजधानी कोलंबो, नेगोम्बो और पूर्वी तट पर बाट्टीकोला में धमाके किए गए। ये धमाके उस समय हुए जब श्रीलंका के अल्पसंख्यक ईसाई समुदाय के लोग ईस्टर रविवार मनाने के लिए इकट्ठा हो रहे थे। इस हमले को देखने वालों से जानिए उस वक़्त उन्होंने क्या महसूस किया।
जुलियन इमेनुएल
48 साल के डॉ. इमेनुएल एक फ़िजीशियन हैं। वो श्रीलंका में पले बढ़े और अब ब्रिटेन में अपने परिवार के साथ रहते हैं। वो इस सप्ताह कोलंबो में रहने वाले अपने परिवार से मिलने गए थे। कोलंबो के सिनेमन ग्रैंड होटल में जब धमाका हुआ तो वो अपने कमरे में सो रहे थे।
उन्होंने बताया, "हम अपने बिस्तर पर थे जब हमने तेज़ धमाके की आवाज़ सुनी। हमारा कमरा भी हिल गया। मुझे लगता है कि ये सुबह साढ़े आठ बजे का वक़्त होगा। इसके बाद हमें कमरे से निकालकर होटल के लाउंज में ले जाया गया जहां से हमसे पिछले रास्ते से बाहर निकलने के लिए कहा गया। हमने घायल लोगों को अस्पताल ले जाते हुए देखा। धमाके कारण हमें होटल में होने वाला नुकसान भी नज़र आया।"
"हम भी चर्च जाने वाले थे। मेरी मां और भतीजा मेरे साथ जाने वाले थे। लेकिन धमाकों के बाद चर्च में प्रार्थनाएं रद्द कर दी गई हैं। आज सुबह जो हुआ उसके बाद देश के किसी चर्च में प्रार्थना नहीं होगी।"
"मैंने अपनी ज़िंदगी के शुरुआती 18 साल श्रीलंका में बिताए हैं और मैंने काफ़ी नस्लीय तनाव देखा है। तमिल और सिंघला समूहों के बीच दशकों चले संघर्ष ने श्रीलंका को बर्बाद कर दिया था लेकिन 2009 के बाद से यहां शांति थी। मेरे बच्चे 11 और 7 साल के हैं और उन्होंने कभी युद्ध नहीं देखा है। मेरी पत्नी ने भी ये सब नहीं देखा है। उनके लिए ये सब देखना बहुत मुश्किल है।"
"ये दुखद है। मुझे लगता था कि श्रीलंका ने हिंसा को पीछे छोड़ दिया है, हम इससे बाहर निकल चुके हैं ,उबर चुके हैं लेकिन अब ये देखना दुखद है कि हिंसा की फिर से वापसी हो रही है।"
होटल की एक कर्मचारी ने बताया कि उसने धमाका के बाद घटनास्थल पर शरीर के टुकड़े और कई शव देखे। इसी दौरान उसके दोस्त ने उसे चर्चों पर हुए धमाकों की तस्वीरें भेजीं। होटल में भी काफ़ी नुक़सान हुआ था और एक रेस्त्रां पूरी तरह बर्बाद हो गया था।
उस्मान अली
अली कोलंबो में रहते हैं। उनके घर के पास बने रोमन कैथोलिक चर्च से जब श्रद्धालुओं को निकाला जा रहा था तब उन्हें लगा कि कुछ ग़लत हुआ है। उनके घर के बाहर की सड़क जो शहर के मुख्य अस्पताल तक जाती है उस पर अचानक कई एंबुलेंस दिखाई देने लगीं। उन्होंने तुरंत सोशल मीडिया पर हैशटैग श्रीलंका चेक किया तो उन्हें पता चला कि देश में कई धमाके हुए।
वो बताते हैं कि ''सोशल मीडिया पर हमले के बाद की वीभत्स तस्वीरें थीं। इसके साथ ही लोगों से पीड़ितों के लिए ख़ून देने की अपील भी की गई थी।'' उस्मान अली भी रक्तदान करने नेशनल ब्लड सेंटर गए और देखा कि वहां पहले से ही लोगों की भीड़ लगी थी।

इस मंज़र को याद करते हुए वो कहते हैं, "वहां भारी भीड़ थी और बाहर हर जगह वाहन लगे थे क्योंकि लोगों को जहां जगह मिल रही थी वहां गाड़ी खड़ी करके अंदर रक्त देने जा रहे थे। फ़िलहाल अस्पताल नाम और ब्लड ग्रुप दर्ज करके लोगों को घर भेज रहे हैं और कह रहे हैं कि यदि ब्लड सेंटर की ओर से संपर्क किया जाए तब ही रक्त देनें आएं।"
उस्मान अली के मुताबिक अस्पताल में पैर रखने की जगह नहीं थी और बाहर भी लंबी कतार लग गई थी। लेकिन ये लोगों का जज़्बा था कि लोग अंदर पहुंच जा रहे थे। "सभी का एक ही इरादा था। बम धमाके के पीड़ितों की मदद करना, वो किस धर्म या नस्ल के थे इससे कोई मतलब नहीं था। सभी लोग फॉर्म भरने में एक दूसरे की मदद कर रहे थे। हमें नहीं पता कि ये हमला कैसे हुआ है। ईश्वर हमारी रक्षा करे।"
कीरन अरसरतनम
कीरन अरसरतनम लंदन के इम्पीरियल कॉलेज बिज़नेस स्कूल में प्रोफ़ेसर हैं। वो शांगरीला होटल में रुके थे। इस होटल के रेस्त्रां में भी धमाका हुआ था। मूल रूप से श्रीलंका के रहने वाले अरसरतनम तीस साल पहले शरणार्थी के तौर पर ब्रिटेन आए थे। वो एक सामाजिक एंटरप्राइज़ को लॉन्च करने अपने देश गए थे।
जब धमाका हुआ तो वो अपने कमरे में थे। उन्होंने बीबीसी को बताया कि वो 18वीं मंज़िल पर थे और जान बचाकर ग्राउंड फ्लोर की ओर दौड़े। इस दौरान उन्होंने वीभत्स दृश्य देखे।
वह बताते हैं, "अफ़रातफ़री मची थी। सभी डरे हुए थे। मैंने दाई ओर एक कमरे में देखा, ख़ून ही ख़ून फैला हुआ था। सभी भाग रहे थे। बहुत से लोगों को नहीं पता था कि क्या हुआ है। लोगों के कपड़ों पर ख़ून लगा था। एक व्यक्ति एक घायल बच्ची को लेकर एंबुलेंस की ओर दौड़ रहा था। दीवारें और फ़र्श ख़ून से सने हुए थे।"
41 वर्षीय अरसरतनम कहते हैं कि अगर उन्होंने नाश्ता करने जाने में देर न की होती तो वो भी धमाके का शिकार हो जाते। वो बताते हैं कि वो 8.45 बजे अपने कमरे से बाहर निकले थे। होटलों और चर्चों में इसी समय के आसपास धमाके सुने गए थे।
वो बताते हैं, "किसी बात से मेरा ध्यान भटका और मैं अपना डेबिट कार्ड लेने के लिए अपने कमरे की ओर वापस गया। पर्दा हटाया ही था कि ठीक उसी समय एक बड़ा धमाका हुआ।"
जिस वक़्त उन्होंने बीबीसी से बात की उस वक़्त वह एक आपात केंद्र में थे। उनके मुताबिक वो जहां हैं वहां चारों ओर रक्त की बदबू है। हमले में घायल लोगों की मरहम पट्टी की जा रही है और लोग अपने घायल या लापता परिजनों को खोज रहे हैं। वह कहते हैं, "मासूम बच्चों को एंबुलेंस में ले जाते हुए देखना दुखद है। मैंने तीस साल पहले श्रीलंका छोड़ा था और कभी नहीं सोचा था कि जीवन में ऐसे दृश्य देखने पड़ेंगे।"
साइमन व्हिटमार्श
वेल्स के रहने वाले 55 साल के रिटायर्ड डॉक्टर साइमन व्हिटमार्श श्रीलंका में छुट्टियां मनाने आए थे। वो बाट्टीकोला के पास साइकिल चला रहे थे जब उन्होंने बड़े धमाके की आवाज़ सुनी और दूर धुआं उठता हुआ देखा।
शहर के एक चर्च के बाहर लोग इकट्ठा हो रहे थे। तभी वहां एक बड़ा धमाका हुआ। "हमने एंबुलेंस को देखा। लोग रो रहे थे। हमसे तुरंत वो इलाक़ा छोड़ने के लिए कहा गया।" व्हिटमार्श का कहना है कि वो एक पूर्व डॉक्टर हैं और उन्हें लगा कि उन्हें लोगों की मदद करनी चाहिए। प्रभावित लोगों की मदद करने के लिए वो एक अस्पताल में गए।
वो कहते हैं, "जब मैं अस्पताल पहुंचा तब तक आपातकालीन प्रोटोकाल लागू कर दिया था। अस्पतालों के बाहर सेना तैनात थी। जो लोग अंदर जा रहे थे उन्हें बाहर ही रोका जा रहा था।"
"अस्पताल के बाहर के सभी रास्ते बंद थे। सब कुछ बहुत व्यवस्थित लग रहा था। मैंने वहां एक वरिष्ठ कर्मचारी को खोजा और पूछा कि क्या मैं मदद कर सकता हूं।"
"अभी कर्फ्यू लगा है और बाहर कोई नहीं है। न वाहन, न लोग। लोगों से घरों के अंदर रहने की अपील की गई है।" "लंदन से आए लोग कह रहे थे कि वो वापस देश लौटना चाहते हैं। लेकिन जब तक कर्फ्यू नहीं ख़त्म नहीं होता कोई कुछ नहीं कर सकता।"
