गुरुवार को एक अजीब वाकया हुआ, अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप का ट्विटर अकाउंट अचानक ही डिलीट हो गया और लगभग 11 मिनट बाद उसे रीस्टोर किया जा सका। ट्रंप का ट्विटर अकाउंट डिलीट होते ही सोशल मीडिया पर शोर मचने लगा। किसी को लगा कि शायद ट्रंप का अकाउंट हैक हो गया है तो कुछ लोगों को यह मानवीय भूल लगी।

ख़ैर इस अजीब और हैरान करने वाले वाकये के रहस्य से जब पर्दा हटा तो मालूम पड़ा कि यह कारनामा ट्विटर के एक कर्मचारी ने किया था। गुरुवार को ट्विटर में उनकी नौकरी का अंतिम दिन था। नौकरी छोड़ने के अपने इस तरीके से उन्होंने खुद को दुनिया भर में यादगार बना दिया।

नौकरी छोड़ना हमारे करियर का एक बड़ा अहम फैसला होता है। कई दफ़ा पुराने ऑफिस से परेशान होकर, सैलेरी से असंतुष्ट होकर या फिर साथियों के साथ तालमेल न बैठा पाने की वजह से नौकरी छोड़ने के फ़ैसले लेने पड़ते हैं। लेकिन कई मौके ऐसे भी होते हैं जब हम खुशी-खुशी नौकरी छोड़ते हैं, जैसे नौकरी का एक तय वक्त पूरा हो जाना या फिर बेहतर करियर विकल्प के लिए दूसरी जगह तलाश करना। हालात चाहे जैसे भी हों, सबसे मुश्किल होता है अपने बॉस और ऑफिस के साथियों को नौकरी छोड़ने की सूचना देना।

बीच फ्लाइट में छोड़ दी नौकरी

साल 2010 में स्टीवन स्लेटर नाम के एक एयर स्टीवर्ड हवाई यात्रा के दौरान अपने यात्रियों से इस कदर परेशान हुए कि उन्होंने पिट्सबर्ग से न्यूयॉर्क जाने वाली फ्लाइट के बीच में ही नौकरी छोड़ दी। फ्लाइट के दौरान वे यात्रियों को समझाते रहे कि वे ज़्यादा सामान लेकर न चढ़ें, लेकिन फिर भी कई लोगों ने उनकी बात को नज़रअंदाज किया।

इसके बाद स्टीवन ने फ्लाइट के बीच में ही इंटरकोम के ज़रिए घोषणा की, ''उन सभी को बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया जिन्होंने पिछले 20 साल तक मेरा साथ दिया।'' स्टीवन ने बियर उठाई और नौकरी को गुड बाय कह दिया। हालांकि बाद में इस तरह नौकरी छोड़ने की वजह से उन्हें अपनी कंपनी को 10 हजार डॉलर का जुर्माना भरना पड़ा।

केक पर लिखा नौकरी छोड़ने का संदेश

यह साल 2013 की बात है, क्रिस होल्मस हवाई अड्डे के सीमाबल में काम करते थे। नौकरी बदलने के अपने फैसले की घोषणा उन्होंने एक प्यारे से केक पर लिखकर दी। वे अब केक बनाने के बिजनेस में उतर आए हैं और आज चार साल बाद उन्हें नौकरी छोड़ने के अपने फैसले का कोई मलाल नहीं है।

वे कहते हैं, ''मैं अपनी पुरानी नौकरी से बहुत बोर हो गया था, और जीवन में कुछ नया करना चाहता था। इसलिए मैंने नौकरी छोड़कर केक बनाने का बिजनेस शुरू कर दिया।''

डांस का वीडियो डालकर छोड़ी नौकरी

मारिया शिफरिन ताइवान में एक एनिमेटर की नौकरी करती थीं। उन्होंने नौकरी छोड़ने की सूचना यूट्यूब पर अपना डांस का वीडियो डालकर दी। उस वीडियो में वे खाली ऑफिस में डांस कर रही थीं।

उन्होंने वीडियो के साथ लिखा था, 'मेरे बॉस के लिए यह डांस'। उनका कहना था, ''मेरे बॉस को हमेशा वीडियो पर कितने व्यू मिले इसकी ही चिंता रहती थी इसलिए मैंने नौकरी छोड़ने से पहले अपना खुद का ही वीडियो बनाने का सोचा।''

उनके वीडियो को लगभग 2 करोड़ व्यू मिले। बदले में उनकी कंपनी और मैनेजर ने भी उनके नाम पर एक वीडियो बनाकर यूट्यूब पर अपलोड कर दिया।

बैंड बाजे के साथ बॉस को दिया इस्तीफा

रोड आइलैंड में एक होटल कर्मचारी ने साल 2011 में जब नौकरी छोड़ने का फैसला किया तो वे पूरे बैंड-बाजे के साथ ऑफिस में आए और अपने बॉस को इस्तीफा थमा कर गए। जॉय डी फ्रांसेसको ने इसका वीडियो बनाकर उसे ऑनलाइन पोस्ट भी कर दिया, जो जल्दी ही वाइरल हो गया।

जॉय ने बताया, ''कर्मचारियों और मैनेजमेंट के बीच लंबे समय से यूनियन सदस्यता को लेकर नाराजगी चल रही थी, इसलिए हम काफी समय से यह इस तरह नौकरी छोड़ने पर विचार कर रहे थे।'' उनके वीडियो को लगभग 60 लाख लोगों ने देखा। जॉय आज नए बैंड के साथ काम कर रहे हैं और गाने गाते हैं।

खुद का नग्न कार्टून बना दिया

ऑस्ट्रेलिया की एक पत्रिका में नौकरी करने वाले ल्यूक बेंज ने को जब मालूम चला कि उनकी जगह अब किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को नौकरी पर रखा जा रहा है तो नौकरी छोड़ने का उन्होंने बड़ा ही अजीब तरीका अपनाया। पत्रिका के साथ अपने अंतिम एडिशन को उन्होंने हाईजैक किया और फिर उसमें लगी तस्वीरों को बदल कर अश्लील बना दिया। पत्रिका के कवर पेज पर उन्होंने खुद का नग्न कार्टून बनाकर लगा दिया।

ऑस्ट्रेलियाई मीडिया के अनुसार जब तक प्रकाशकों को इस बारे में मालूम चलता तब तक मेलबर्न में इस पत्रिका की 35 हज़ार प्रतियां बिक चुकी थीं। बाद में पत्रिका ने अपने पाठकों से इस संबंध में माफी मांगी।
