तुषार कुलकर्णी (बीबीसी मराठी)
ओशो का जीवन जितना रहस्यमयी था, उतनी ही उनकी मौत भी। उनकी मृत्यु को 27 साल पूरे हो चुके हैं। साल 1990 में आज ही के दिन वो दुनिया छोड़ गए थे। इस मौके पर हमने उनकी विरासत, उनके जीवन के छुए-अनछुए पहलुओं पर रोशनी डालने की कोशिश की है।
1. ओशो का शुरुआती जीवन
11 दिसंबर, 1931 को मध्य प्रदेश के कुचवाड़ा में उनका जन्म हुआ था। जन्म के वक्त उनका नाम चंद्रमोहन जैन था। बचपन से ही उन्हें दर्शन में रुची पैदा हो गई। ऐसा उन्होंने अपनी किताब 'ग्लिप्सेंस ऑफड माई गोल्डन चाइल्डहुड' में लिखा है।
उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई जबलपुर में पूरी की और बाद में वो जबलपुर यूनिवर्सिटी में लेक्चरर के तौर पर काम करने लगे। उन्होंने अलग-अलग धर्म और विचारधारा पर देश भर में प्रवचन देना शुरू किया। उनका व्यक्तित्व ऐसा था कि कोई भी इसके असर में आए बिना रह नहीं पाता था।
प्रवचन के साथ ध्यान शिविर भी आयोजित करना शुरू कर दिया। शुरुआती दौर में उन्हें आचार्य रजनीश के तौर पर जाना जाता था। नौकरी छोड़ने के बाद उन्होंने नवसंन्यास आंदोलन की शुरुआत की। इसके बाद उन्होंने खुद को ओशो कहना शुरू कर दिया।
2. अमेरिकी प्रवास
साल 1981 से 1985 के बीच वो अमेरिका चले गए। अमेरिकी प्रांत ओरेगॉन में उन्होंने आश्रम की स्थापना की। ये आश्रम 65 हज़ार एकड़ में फैला था। ओशो का अमरीका प्रवास बेहद विवादास्पद रहा। महंगी घड़ियां, रोल्स रॉयस कारें, डिजाइनर कपड़ों की वजह से वे हमेशा चर्चा में रहे।
ओरेगॉन में ओशो के शिष्यों ने उनके आश्रम को रजनीशपुरम नाम से एक शहर के तौर पर रजिस्टर्ड कराना चाहा लेकिन स्थानीय लोगों ने इसका विरोध किया। इसके बाद 1985 वे भारत वापस लौट आए।
3. ओशो की मृत्यु
भारत लौटने के बाद वे पुणे के कोरेगांव पार्क इलाके में स्थित अपने आश्रम में लौट आए। उनकी मृत्यु 19 जनवरी, 1990 में हो गई। उनकी मौत के बाद पुणे आश्रम का नियंत्रण ओशो के क़रीबी शिष्यों ने अपने हाथ में ले लिया। आश्रम की संपत्ति करोड़ों रुपये की मानी जाती है और इस बात को लेकर उनके शिष्यों के बीच विवाद भी है।

ओशो के शिष्य रहे योगेश ठक्कर ने बीबीसी मराठी से कहा, "ओशो का साहित्य सबके लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। इसलिए मैंने उनकी वसीयत को बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में चैलेंज किया है।"
ओशो का डेथ सर्टिफिकेट जारी करने वाले डॉक्टर गोकुल गोकाणी लंबे समय तक उनकी मौत के कारणों पर खामोश रहे। लेकिन बाद में उन्होंने अपनी चुप्पी तोड़ते हुए कहा कि मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र पर उनसे गलत जानकारी देकर दस्तखत लिए गए।
अब डॉक्टर गोकुल गोकाणी ने योगेश ठक्कर के केस में अपनी तरफ से शपथपत्र दाखिल किया है। उनका कहना है कि ओशो की मौत के सालों बाद भी कई सवालों के जवाब नहीं मिल रहे थे और मौत के कारणों को लेकर रहस्य बरकरार है।
4. मौत के दिन क्या हुआ
ओशो की मौत पर 'हू किल्ड ओशो' टाइटल से क़िताब लिखने वाले अभय वैद्य का कहते हैं, "19 जनवरी, 1990 को ओशो आश्रम से डॉक्टर गोकुल गोकाणी को फोन आया। उनको कहा गया कि आपका लेटर हेड और इमरजेंसी किट लेकर आएं।"
डॉक्टर गोकुल गोकाणी ने अपने हलफनामे में लिखा है, "वहां मैं करीब दो बजे पहुंचा। उनके शिष्यों ने बताया कि ओशो देह त्याग कर रहे हैं। आप उन्हें बचा लीजिए। लेकिन मुझे उनके पास जाने नहीं दिया गया। कई घंटों तक आश्रम में टहलते रहने के बाद मुझे उनकी मौत की जानकारी दी गई और कहा गया कि डेथ सर्टिफिकेट जारी कर दें।"
डॉक्टर गोकुल ओशो की मौत की टाइमिंग को लेकर भी सवाल खड़े करते हैं। डॉक्टर ने अपने हलफनामे में ये भी दावा किया है कि ओशो के शिष्यों ने उन्हें मौत की वजह दिल का दौरा लिखने के लिए दबाव डाला।
ओशो के आश्रम में किसी संन्यासी की मृत्यु को उत्सव की तरह मनाने का रिवाज़ था। लेकिन जब खुद ओशो की मौत हुई तो इसकी घोषणा के एक घंटे के भीतर ही उनका अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया और उनके निर्वाण का उत्सव भी संक्षिप्त रखा गया था।
ओशो की मां भी उनके आश्रम में ही रहती थीं। ओशो की सचिव रहीं नीलम ने बाद में एक इंटरव्यू में उनकी मौत से जुड़े रहस्यों पर कहा था कि ओशो के निधन की सूचना उनकी मां को भी देर से दी गई थी। नीलम ने इस इंटरव्यू में ये दावा किया था कि ओशो की मां लंबे समय तक ये कहती रहीं कि बेटा उन्होंने तुम्हें मार डाला।

5. ओशो की वसीयत
योगेश ठक्कर का दावा है कि उनके आश्रम की संपत्ति हज़ारों करोड़ रुपये है और किताबों और अन्य चीज़ों से तकरीबन 100 करोड़ रुपये रॉयल्टी मिलती है। ओशो की विरासत पर ओशो इंटरनेशनल का नियंत्रण है। ओशो इंटरनेशन की दलील है कि उन्हें ओशो की विरासत वसीयत से मिली है।
योगेश ठक्कर का दावा है कि ओशो इंटरनेशनल जिस वसीयत का हवाला दे रहा है, वो फर्जी है। हालांकि ओशो इंटरनेशनल पर लगे आरोपों का खंडन उनकी शिष्या अमृत साधना इनकार करती हैं। वे इन आरोपों को झूठ करार देती हैं।
6. ओशो पर ट्रेड मार्क
ओशो इंटरनेशनल ने यूरोप में ओशो नाम का ट्रेड मार्क ले रखा है। इस ट्रेड मार्क को एक दूसरी संस्था ओशो लोटस कम्यून ने चुनौती दी थी। इसी साल 11 अक्टूबर को जनरल कोर्ट ऑफ़ यूरोपीयन यूनियन ने ओशो इंटरनेशनल के पक्ष में अपना फैसला सुनाया।
ओशो इंटरनेशनल का कॉपीराइट और ट्रेड मार्क पर उठने वाले विवादों को लेकर कहना है कि वे ओशो के विचारों को शुद्ध रूप में उनके चाहने वालों तक पहुंचाता है, इसलिए ये अधिकार वे अपने पास रखना चाहते हैं। लेकिन ओशो ने खुद ही कभी कहा था कि कॉपीराइट वस्तुओं और चीज़ों का तो हो सकता है लेकिन विचारों का नहीं।
पुणे स्थित उनकी समाधि पर लिखी इस बात से ओशो की अहमियत का अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है, "न कभी जन्मे, न कभी मरे। वे धरती पर 11 दिसंबर, 1931 और 19 जनवरी 1990 के बीच आए थे।"
