ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट: दूल्हा एक, दुल्हन दो, वो भी सगी बहनें, माजरा क्या?

महाराष्ट्र के नांदेड़ ज़िले से 82 किलोमीटर दूर बिलोली तहसील का कोटग्याल गांव पिछले कुछ दिनों से पूरे राज्य में चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। दरअसल इस चर्चा की वजह 5 मई को यहां हुई एक शादी है जिसमें दूल्हा तो एक था लेकिन दुल्हन दो थीं। धुरपता और राजश्री शिरगिरे दोनों सगी बहनें हैं और इन्होंने साईनाथ उरेकर से शादी की है।

दोपहर के दो बजे थे, जब हमारी कार कोटग्याल गांव पहुंची। गाड़ी पहुंचते ही वहां लोगों की भीड़ इकट्ठा होने लगी। लोगों के चेहरे पर यह भाव स्पष्ट दिख रहा था उन्हें टीवी चैनल से लोगों के आने की उम्मीद थी। जब हमने उनसे शिरगिरे के घर का पता पूछा तो उनमें से एक ने कहा, "आजकल काफी टीवी वाले आ रहे हैं, अब बस भी करो। अब उनकी शादी हो गई है और उनका दाम्पत्य जीवन शुरू हुआ है।"

काफी देर तक उनके बारे में बात करने के बाद उनमें से एक व्यक्ति ने पास के हनुमान मंदिर की ओर इशारा करते हुए शिरगिरे के घर का पता बताया।

घरवाले बात करने को राज़ी नहीं थे

लड़की के घर पहुंचने पर हमें वहां सात आठ लोग मिले लेकिन उनमें से कोई भी हमसे बात करने के लिए तैयार नहीं था। जब हमने उनसे शादी के विषय में पूछा तो उन्होंने कहा, "ये जो हुआ है, अच्छा है। आप इस विषय को छोड़ दें।"

यह पूछने पर कि लड़की के माता-पिता कहां हैं? हमें जवाब मिला, "वो बाहर गए हैं और दूल्हा-दुल्हन भगवान के दर्शन के लिए बाहर गए हैं। वो चार पांच दिन बाद वापस आएंगे।"

बात करने को तैयार हुआ चचेरा भाई

3 घंटे मशक्कत करने के बाद भी कोई इस पर कुछ ज़्यादा बताने को राज़ी नहीं था। आख़िरकार साढ़े पांच बजे, लड़की के चचेरे भाई प्रकाश शिरगिरे हमसे बात करने के लिए तैयार हुए।

प्रकाश शिरगिरे ने कहा, "हम डरते हैं कि कहीं उनकी नई दुनिया शुरु होने से पहले ही ना उजड़ जाए। क्योंकि मेरे परिवार को इस तथ्य की जानकारी नहीं थी कि एक लड़के का दो बहनों से शादी करना क़ानूनी रूप से मान्य नहीं है। कोई भी पिता चाहेगा कि उसकी बेटी का संसार सुखी हो, इसलिए मेरे चाचा ने दोनों बहनों की शादी एक ही लड़के के साथ करा दी।"

फिर पूरी कहानी पता चली

साईनाथ उरेकर धुरपता और राजश्री के बुआ (पिता की बहन) का बेटा है। प्रकाश शिरगिरे ने बताया, "मेरी चचेरी बड़ी बहन धुरपता बचपन से ही मंदबुद्धि है और वो हमेशा ही बीमार रहती है। उसके इलाज के लिए मेरे चाचा ने काफी कोशिशें कीं लेकिन कुछ फायदा नहीं हुआ।"

"साईनाथ बचपन से राजश्री और धुरपता के साथ उनके घर पर ही पला बढ़ा है। उसको ये बात पता थी कि धुरपता मंदबुद्धि है, फिर भी वो शादी के लिए राज़ी हो गया। और आज उनका संसार शुरू हो गया है। बस अब कोई संकट न आए, हमें इसी का डर है।"

प्रकाश से बात करते समय उनके साथ खड़े लोग हमें वापस जाने के लिए कह रहे थे। लेकिन तभी किसी ने इशारे से बताया कि दूल्हे और दुल्हन की माएं आ गईं हैं। उसके बाद हम उनकी तरफ गए। हम उनसे कुछ पूछ पाते उससे पहले ही उन्होंने कहा, "हमको इस बारे में ज़्यादा कुछ समझ नहीं है कि ये सही है या ग़लत लेकिन हम सब खुश हैं।" और यह कहने के बाद वो दोनों वहां से चली गईं।

दुल्हन राजश्री से हुई बात

शाम के साढ़े छह बज गए थे। इस दौरान हमें पता चला कि दूल्हा और दुल्हन दर्शन के लिए बाहर नहीं गए थे बल्कि वो दूल्हे के गांव (समराला) गए हुए हैं। हमने उनसे संपर्क करने की कोशिश की।

पहले हमारी बात छोटी बहन राजश्री से हुई। उन्होंने कहा, "मेरी बड़ी बहन मंदबुद्धि है इसलिए उसकी शादी में काफी रुकावटें आ रही थीं। कोई भी उसके साथ शादी के लिए तैयार नहीं था। मुझसे बड़ी होने के कारण पहले उसकी शादी होनी चाहिए थी, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हो पा रहा था।"

"मेरी यही इच्छा थी कि उसकी शादी मुझसे पहले हो जिसे मैंने अपने घरवालों को बताया था। जब साईनाथ से मेरा रिश्ता तय हुआ तो मैंने उसे भी स्पष्ट बताया और उन्होंने भी इस बात को मान लिया। और आज हम तीनों का संसार बस गया है।"

इसके बाद हमने साईनाथ से बात की। उन्होंने भी यही बताया, "राजश्री मेरे मामा की लड़की है, मैं उनके घर पर ही पला बढ़ा हूं। शादी से पहले राजश्री और उसके घरवालों ने मुझसे पूछा कि क्या तुम इन दोनों बहनों से शादी कर सकते हो। मैंने हां कर दिया। और आज हम सब खुश हैं।"

घर जमाई बने साईनाथ

60 साल के गंगाधर शिरगिरे की केवल दो बेटियां हैं- राजश्री और धुरपता। बेटा न होने के कारण वो अपनी बहन के लड़के साईनाथ उरेकर को बचपन में ही अपने घर लेकर आए, वो तब से उनके साथ रहते आ रहे हैं।

बचपन में साईनाथ की शादी धुरपता से करना तय किया गया था। लेकिन धुरपता का इलाज नहीं हो पाने के कारण उसकी शादी राजश्री के साथ करने का फ़ैसला लिया गया। लेकिन राजश्री ने साईनाथ के सामने शर्त रख दी कि "अगर मुझसे शादी करनी है तो मेरी बड़ी बहन को भी अपनाना होगा।" राजश्री की यह शर्त साईनाथ ने भी मान ली और 5 मई 2018 को उनकी शादी हो गई।

क़ानून क्या कहता है?

दूल्हा दुल्हन के परिवार की मानसिक स्थिति जानने के लिए हमने गांव के कुछ और लोगों से बातें की। उनमें से एक संतोष पाटिल ने बताया, "क़ानून के डर से शिरगिरे परिवार परेशान है और उन्हें काउंसलिंग की ज़रूरत है।"

संतोष आगे कहते हैं कि इस शादी की वजह से पारंपरिक तौर तरीकों से चलते आ रहे हमारे गांव की चर्चा अब सभी जगह हो रही है, इसलिए शिरगिरे परिवार में थोड़ी बेचैनी है।

इस मामले में अधिक जानने के लिए हमने वकील असीम सरोदे से बात की। उन्होंने बताया, "क़ानून के अनुसार दो शादियां करना गुनाह है। आप एक साथ दो पत्नी नहीं रख सकते। इस मामले में, इनमें से अगर कोई एक बहन चाहेगी तो केस दर्ज हो सकता है। इस तरह की शादियां न हों, यह महिला और बाल कल्याण विभाग की ज़िम्मेदारी होती है। ये लोग इस पर स्वतः कार्रवाई भी कर सकते हैं। उनके पास आए हुए रिपोर्ट या न्यूज़ के अनुसार वो लोग कार्रवाई भी कर सकते हैं।"

वो कहते हैं, "मामले को दर्ज किया जाना आसान है। लेकिन देखा जाए तो जिस उद्देश्य से उस लड़के ने दोनों बहनों से शादी की उसमें भावनात्मक अपील ज़्यादा दिखता है। इसका मतलब यह है कि अपराध करना उनका उद्देश्य नहीं था।"

"इस मामले में क़ानून का शिकंजा कसने से फ़ायदा नहीं होगा। सभी लोगों को मिल कर इसका हल निकालना चाहिए।"
