बीजेपी की वरिष्ठ नेता और लोकसभा सांसद मेनका गांधी ने तेलंगाना एनकाउंटर की निंदा की। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं इस एनकाउंटर के पूरी तरह ख़िलाफ़ हूं। जो कुछ भी हुआ वह बहुत ज़्यादा भयानक है। आप क़ानून को अपने हाथ में नहीं ले सकते। क़ानून के हिसाब से वैसे भी उन्हें फ़ांसी मिलती। अगर क़ानून से पहले ही उन्हें बंदूकों से मार दोगे तो फिर अदालत, पुलिस और क़ानून का फ़ायदा ही क्या है? अगर निर्भया के आरोपियों को अभी तक सज़ा नहीं मिली है तो यह क़ानून की ग़लती है, क़ानून में देरी का मतलब यह नहीं कि आप किसी को भी सीधे मार डालोगे।

कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता दिग्विजय सिंह ने हैदराबाद पुलिस के एनकाउंटर की कार्रवाई को सही बताया है। मीडिया से बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि 'अब लग रहा है कि न्याय हुआ है। दुष्टों के साथ दुष्टता का व्यवहार होना चाहिए।'
महिलाओं ने बांधीं पुलिस वालों को राखियां
हैदराबाद में रेप पीड़िता के पड़ोसियों ने पुलिसकर्मियों को राखी बांधी। सुबह-सुबह हैदराबाद पुलिस ने महिला पशु चिकित्सक के साथ रेप मामले के अभियुक्त 4 युवकों को एनकाउंटर में मार दिया था।
राज्यवर्धन राठौड़ ने दी हैदराबाद पुलिस को बधाई
राजस्थान से बीजेपी सांसद राज्यवर्धन सिंह राठौड़ ने ट्वीट किया है, 'मैं हैदराबाद पुलिस और उस नेतृत्व को बधाई देता हूं जिसने पुलिस को पुलिस की तरह फ़ैसला लेने की इजाज़त दी। सभी को यह पता चलना चाहिए कि यह ऐसा देश है, जहां हमेशा बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत होती है।'

जन अधिकार पार्टी के नेता पप्पू यादव ने कहा है कि हैदराबाद पुलिस की यह कार्रवाई नजीर बनेगी। उन्होंने यह भी सवाल उठाया है कि उन बेटियों को न्याय कैसे मिलेगा जिनका यौन शोषण अपने ही घरों में होता है।

उस दिन क्या हुआ था?
28 नवंबर को हैदराबाद में एक टोल प्लाज़ा के पास 26 साल की एक डॉक्टर का जला हुआ शव बरामद हुआ था। जांच में पता चला कि महिला के साथ रेप हुआ था और बाद में हत्या करने के बाद उसे जला दिया था।
शुक्रवार तड़के 3 बजे हुआ था एनकाउंटर। तेलंगाना पुलिस के एडीजी (लॉ एंड ऑर्डर) जितेंद्र ने बीबीसी को बताया कि एनकाउंटर शुक्रवार तड़के 3 बजे हुआ।

अभियुक्त उसी जगह मारे गए, जहां डॉक्टर की हत्या हुई। एनकाउंटर हैदराबाद से 50 किलोमीटर दूर महबूब नगर ज़िले के चटनपल्ली गांव में हुआ।

मैं पिछले 7 साल से मैं भटक रही हूं। मैं इस देश की न्याय प्रणाली और सरकार से अपील करती हूं कि निर्भया के दोषियों को जल्द से जल्द फांसी दी जाए।
लीगल सिस्टम के ज़रिए होना चाहिए था न्याय- रेखा शर्मा, अध्यक्ष, राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग
राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग उनके लिए सज़ा-ए-मौत की मांग कर रहा था। लेकिन वो कानून के ज़रिए होना था। हम स्पीडी जस्टिस की मांग कर रहे थे। ये एक एनकाउंटर हुआ है। इसमें पुलिस ही बता सकती है कि किन परिस्थितियों में ये हुआ है? हम चाहते थे कि न्याय हो। न्याय लीगल सिस्टम से ही होता है। आम लोग ख़ुश हैं कि ये हुआ लेकिन एक हमारा संविधान और लीगल सिस्टम है और उसी के ज़रिए न्याय होना चाहिए था।'
मेरी बेटी की आत्मा को शांति मिली- पीड़िता के पिता
एनकाउंटर के बाद मृतक डॉक्टर के पिता ने कहा कि मेरी बेटी की आत्मा को अब शांति मिली होगी।
हैदराबाद एनकाउंटर- अब तक क्या कुछ हुआ
* एनकाउंटर हैदराबाद से 50 किलोमीटर दूर महबूब नगर ज़िले के चटनपल्ली गांव में हुआ।
* तेलंगाना पुलिस के एडीजी (लॉ एंड ऑर्डर) जितेंद्र ने बीबीसी को बताया कि शुक्रवार तड़के 3 बजे चारों संदिग्ध लोगों की एक मुठभेड़ में मौत हो गई।
* इन चारों अभियुक्तों को बुधवार को पुलिस हिरासत में सौंपा गया था।
* एक पुलिस अधिकारी ने नाम नहीं बताने की शर्त पर बीबीसी को बताया कि गुरुवार रात को पुलिस चारों अभियुक्तों को उस जगह ले गई, जहां महिला डॉक्टर का जला हुआ शव बरामद किया गया था।
* वहां घटना का दृश्य रीक्रिएट करते वक़्त अभियुक्तों ने पुलिस पर हमला करने की कोशिश की जिसके बाद पुलिस की कार्रवाई में वो मारे गए।
