दिव्य शक्तियों का संदेश
अपना भविष्य जानने की मानवीय उत्कंठा उतनी ही प्राचीन है जितना प्राचीन है हमारा ज्योतिष शास्त्र। रामचरितमानस, रामायण व महाभारत जैसे ग्रंथों में भी हमें ज्योतिष शास्त्र द्वारा मार्गदर्शन का संकेत मिलता है। इससे यह ज्ञात होता है कि ज्योतिष अत्यंत प्राचीनतम विद्या है।
प्राचीनकाल से ही ज्योतिष के अनेक प्रकार प्रचलित रहे हैं जिनमें सामुद्रिक शास्त्र, हस्तरेखा विज्ञान, मुख ज्योतिष, अंक शास्त्र, नष्टजातकम् के साथ-साथ प्रश्नावली, रमल जैसी विधियां भी शामिल हैं। वर्तमान काल में ज्योतिष की ऐसी ही एक विधि अत्यन्त प्रचलित व प्रामाणिक सिद्ध हो रही है जिसका नाम है-"टैरो रीडिंग"। इसमें टैरोकार्ड के माध्यम से प्रश्नकर्ता के प्रश्नों का समाधान कर उसे मार्गदर्शन दिया जाता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि यह मार्गदर्शन हमें सीधे दैवीय शक्तियों व हमारे ईष्ट के द्वारा दिया जाता है जो टैरो कार्ड के माध्यम से हमें प्राप्त होता है।
टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग क्या है-
टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग ज्योतिष का ही एक अभिन्न अंग है। वैदिक ज्योतिष में जिस तरह से किसी व्यक्ति का भविष्य जानने के लिए जन्म कुंडली, हस्तेरखा और अंकज्योतिष का अध्ययन किया जाता है उसी प्रकार से आधुनिक युग में इन सभी विधाओं के अतिरिक्त एक और प्रचलित विधा है जिसे "टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग" कहा जाता है। टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग में टैरो कार्ड के ऊपर अंक, रंग, संकेत तथा पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु, आकाश जैसे पांच तत्व दर्शाए गए होते हैं, जिनके आधार पर भविष्य का अनुमान लगाया जाता है और जीवन में आने वाली तमाम तरह की बाधाओं को हल करने में यह विद्या काम आती है।
ज्योतिष का अर्थ होता है विभिन्न तरह के तथ्यों को जोड़कर किसी भी व्यक्ति का एक संभावित भविष्य निर्धारित करना। ज्योतिष के विभिन्न अंग जैसे वैदिक ज्योतिष,अंक ज्योतिष,रेखा ज्योतिष,सामुद्रिक शास्त्र आदि हैं। टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग भी ज्योतिष का ही एक अभिन्न व महत्त्वपूर्ण अंग है। टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग को ताश के पत्तों द्वारा प्रयोग किया जाता है। ताश के पत्तों को पढ़ना ही टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग कहलाता है।

टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग का इतिहास-
हम यदि टैरो कार्ड के इतिहास की बात करें तो ज्योतिष की इस विधा की शुरुआत लगभग 2 हजार साल पहले हुई थी। सेल्टिक नामक देश के लोगों द्वारा सर्वप्रथम इस विद्या से भविष्य जानने का प्रयास किया गया था। टैरोट कार्ड रीडिंग यूं तो मौजूद समय में संपूर्ण विश्व में फैला हुआ है लेकिन इसका प्रयोग सर्वप्रथम चौदहवीं शताब्दी में किया गया था। इसे इटली में सबसे पहले प्रयोग किया गया था। मान्यताओं के अनुसार यह विद्या 1971 से अधिक प्रचलन में आई, जब इटली में मनोरंजन के माध्यम के तौर पर अपनाया गया था।
मनोरंजन के तौर पर शुरू की गई टैरोट कार्ड रीडिंग आगे चलकर काफी ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण ज्योतिष विद्या के रूप मे स्थापित हो गई। इसके बाद टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग की यह विद्या इंग्लैंड व फ्रांस में भी बहुत लोकप्रिय हो गई। वर्तमान समय में टैरो कार्ड रीडिंग का प्रचलन भारत में काफी बढ़ चुका है। टैरो/टैरो'ट कार्ड पंच तत्वों के आधार पर कार्य करता है। इसके ऊपर कुल सभी पंच तत्वों को दिखाया जाता है जो कि पृथ्वी, आकाश, अग्नि, हवा और पृथ्वी हैं। टैरोट कार्ड के कार्ड्स पर बने ये सभी तत्व व्यक्ति के भविष्य का अनुमान लगाने मे सहायता करते हैं। टैरोट कार्ड रीडिंग में कुल 78 कार्ड होते हैं। ये सभी कार्ड दो वर्गों में बंटे होते हैं जिनमें से पहला वर्ग "मेजर अरकाना" कार्ड का होता है, और इसमें दूसरा वर्ग "माइनर अरकाना" कार्ड का होता है। ये दोनों प्रकार के ही कार्ड टैरोट कार्ड रीडिंग में प्रमुख होते हैं। लैटिन भाषा में अरकाना शब्द का अर्थ होता है "रहस्यमयी"।

माना जाता है कि 1971 से पहले टैरो कार्ड सिर्फ सामान्य पत्ते खेलने के लिए प्रयोग किये जाते थे। इसके बाद इनका प्रयोग ज्योतिष और भविष्य को जानने के लिए किया जाने लगा। टैरो कार्ड के अंतर्गत दो लोग होते हैं, पहला अपने भविष्य की जानकारी या अपनी समस्याओं का समाधान चाहने वाला प्रश्नकर्ता तथा दूसरा निकाले गए कार्ड को पढ़ व समझकर प्रश्नकर्ता को समाधान बताने वाला "रीडर"। ज्योतिष की यह विद्या आस्था और विश्वास पर आधारित है। यदि प्रश्नकर्ता को इस विद्या पर विश्वास नहीं है, तो उसे इसका प्रयोग नहीं करना चाहिए। इस विद्या को कुछ लोग अविश्वास की नजरों से देखते हैं, परन्तु इस बात में कोई संदेह नहीं है कि टैरो कार्ड विद्या का प्रयोग भविष्य को जानने के लिए किया जा सकता है। यदि प्रश्नकर्ता को टैरो कार्ड में पूर्ण श्रद्धा व विश्वास है तो यह जीवन की समस्याओं व भविष्य का मार्गदर्शन करने में उसी तरह पूर्णरूपेण सक्षम है जैसे कि ज्योतिष के अन्य माध्यम।
