આજથી નવરાત્રિનો પ્રારંભ થઈ ગયો છે. રાજ્યભરમાં કોરોનાને કારણે આ વખતે ગરબાના મોટા આયોજનો થવાના નથી. શેરી ગરબાની રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા છૂટ આપવામાં આવી છે. દર વર્ષે વસ્ત્રાપુર GMDC ગ્રાઉન્ડમાં રાજયકક્ષાનો નવરાત્રિ મહોત્સવ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે જેમાં રાજ્યના મુખ્યમંત્રી આરતી કરી મહોત્સવનો પ્રારંભ કરાવે છે પરંતુ કોરોનાના કારણે ગત વર્ષે નવરાત્રિ યોજાઈ ન હતી. મુખ્યમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલે લાલ દરવાજા સ્થિત ભદ્રકાળી મંદિરે દર્શન કરી આરતી ઉતારી. શારદીય નવરાત્રિના પ્રથમ શુભદિને અમદાવાદ ખાતે નગરદેવી શ્રી ભદ્રકાકાળી માતાજીના દર્શન તથા આરતી કરી જગતજનનીના શ્રીચરણોમાં શીશ ઝુકાવી સૌના આત્મવિકાસની સાથે રાજ્યના સર્વાંગી વિકાસને બળ મળે અને કોરોના મહામારીથી સંપૂર્ણ મુક્ત થઈએ એવી પ્રાર્થના કરી. પૂર્વ ગૃહ રાજ્યમંત્રી પ્રદીપસિંહ જાડેજા, મેયર કિરીટ પરમાર સહિતના નેતાઓએ પણ આરતી ઉતારી હતી

મુખ્યમંત્રીએ એક કલાક સુધી ગરબા નિહાળ્યા બાદ રવાના થયા હતા. આ પહેલા તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આજે નવરાત્રિની શરૂઆત થઈ છે. આજે ભદ્રકાળી મંદિરે દર્શન કર્યા છે. ગુજરાતની સુખ શાંતિ સમૃદ્ધિ વધે. કોરોનાની ત્રીજી વેવ ન આવે તેની માતાજીને પ્રાર્થના કરી છે. નવરાત્રિની શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવું છું.
મંદિર પરિસરમાં DP કેમ્પસ નિર્ણયનગર ગ્રુપના 60 ખેલૈયાઓ દ્વારા ગરબા કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. ટ્રેડિશનલ ડ્રેસ પહેરીને તેઓએ ગરબા રમ્યા હતા. ઐશ્વર્યા મજમુદારના સ્વરે ગરબાની રમઝટ બોલાવી હતી. મુખ્યમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલ, મેયર કિરીટ પરમાર, સ્ટેન્ડિંગ કમિટી ચેરમેન હિતેશ બારોટ સહિતના નેતાઓએ ગરબા નિહાળ્યા હતા. નવરાત્રિ મહા આરતી ઉત્સવમાં શહેરના મોટાભાગના કાઉન્સિલરો, વિવિધ કમિટિના ચેરમેનો અને ભાજપના નેતાઓ હાજર રહ્યાં હતાં. પૂર્વ ગૃહ રાજ્યમંત્રી પ્રદીપસિંહ જાડેજા, શહેર પ્રમુખ અમિત શાહ, ભાજપના નેતા ધર્મેન્દ્ર શાહ, મેયર કિરીટ પરમાર સહિતના નેતાઓએ પણ આરતી ઉતારી હતી.
