મુસ્લિમ ધર્માવલંબિયોનો પવિત્ર મહીનો રમજાન શરૂ થઈ રહ્યો છે. હિજરી કેલેડરનો આ નવમો મહીનો છે. આખા વિશ્વમાં રમજાન મહીના માટે કરેલ દરેક નેક કામનુ પુણ્ય એટલે કે સવાબ 70 ગણું મળે છે. 7- ગણા અરબીમાં મુહાવરો છે, જેના અર્થ છે કે ખૂબ વધારે. આથી દરેક મુસ્લિમ તેમના આ પાક મહીનામાં વધારેથી વધારે નેક કામ કરે છે.

જકાત ( પોતાની કમાણીનો થોડા ભાગ દાનના રૂપમાં આપવો) આ મહીનામાં જો કોઈ માણસ પોતાંની કમાણીની જકાત આપે છે. તો એના 1 રૂપિયાની જગ્યાએ 70 રૂપિયા અલ્લાહની રાહમાં આપવાના પુણ્ય મળે છે, આથી મુસલમાન આ મહીનામાં જકાત અદા કરે છે.

રમજાન પાક મહીનામાં રોજા પણ રખાય છે .રોજા આપણને અસત્ય, હિંસા બુરાઈ. લાંચ અને બીજા બધા ખોટા કામથી બચવાની પ્રેરણા આપે છે. એનુ પાલન પુર્ણ એક મહીનો કરવામાં આવે છે. જેથી માણસ આખુ વર્ષ બધી બુરાઈઓથી બચે અને બીજા સાથે દયાનો ભાવ રાખે.
