પંજાબના અમૃતસરમાં દશેરા જોઈ રહેલ લગભગ 70થી વધુ લોકોની રેલગાડીની ચપેટૅમાં આવતા મોત થયુ. જ્યારે કે 40થી વધુ ઘાયલોની સ્થિતિ ગંભીર છે.
બીજી બાજુ આ દુર્ઘટનામાં એ વ્યક્તિનુ પણ ટ્રેનથી કપાઈને મોત તહ્યુ જે રામલીલામાં રાવણનુ પાત્ર ભજવતો હતો. એવુ કહેવાય રહ્યુ છે કે જે સમયે રાવણનુ પુતળુ બળી રહ્યુ હતુ ઠીક એ જ સમયે રાવણ બનેલ દલબીર સિંહનુ ટ્રેનથી કપાઈને મોત થયુ. આ ઘટના પછી દલબીરના પરિવાર પર તો જાણે આભ તૂટી પડ્યુ છે. દુર્ઘટના માટે પરિવારે સ્થાનિક સરકારને જવાબદાર ઠેરવી છે.

કેવી રીતે થઈ દુર્ઘટના
શુક્રવારે જોડા ફાટક નિકટ આવેલ રેલલાઈનની નિકટ વિજયાદશમીના તહેવાર પર રાવણનુ પુતળુ સળગાવવામાં આવી રહ્યુ હતુ. એ દરમિયાન સેકડોની સંખ્યામાં મહિલા બાળકો અને લોકો આ દ્રશ્યને જોઈ રહ્યા હતા. તેઓ બધા આ વાતથી બેખરબ હતા કે થોડી ક્ષણમાં જ તેમનો હર્ષોલ્લાસ માતમમાં બદલાય જશે. ત્યારે ત્યાથી જાલંધરથી અમૃતસર જઈ રહેલ ડીએમયૂ રેલગાડી તેજ ગતિથી પસાર થઈ અને તેણે પાટા પર ઉભા રહીને દશેરા નિહાળી રહેલ લોકોને પોતાની અડફેટમાં લીધા. આ લોકોને ફટાકડાની અવાજમાં રેલગાડીના આવવાનો અહેસાસ પણ ન થયો. આ દરમિયાન અનેક લોકો રાવણના પુતળા દહનનુ દ્રશ્ય પોતાના મોબાઈલ કેમરામાં કેદ કરવામાં મશગૂલ હતા અને અચાનલ રેલગાડીએ તેમને રગદોળી નાખ્યા.
