રંગારંગ હોળીના પર્વને અલૌકિક આનંદોત્સવ બનાવીએ
ભારતના મહત્વના તહેવારોમાં હોળી ધુળેટીના પર્વનું એક આગવું મહત્વ છે. વિશ્વના અન્ય દેશો જેવાકે સુરીનામ, ગયાના, ટ્રિનિડાડ, યુનાઇટેડ કિંગડમ અને નેપાળમાં પણ ભારે લોકચાહના ધરાવતો આ હિંદુ તહેવાર છે. તેને દોલયાત્રા, રંગોત્સવ કે વસંતોત્સવ તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. આંધ્રપ્રદેશમાં હોળીનો તહેવાર "કામ દહન" તરીકે ઓળખાય છે. ફાગણ માસની પૂનમે મનાવવામાં આવતા હોળીના તહેવારની સાંજે ગામનાં પાદર કે મુખ્ય ચોક જેવા સ્થાન પર છાણા, લાકડાંની 'હોળી' ખડકવામાં આવે છે.લોકો ત્યાં એકઠા થાય છે, હોળી પ્રગટાવવામાં આવે છે અને તેની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવામાં આવે છે. શ્રીફળ વગેરે પવિત્ર મનાતી વસ્તુઓથી પૂજન કરે છે. જો કે ભારતમાં વિવિધ પ્રાંતો અને સમુદાયોમાં હોળીની ઉજવણીની અલગ અલગ રીતે કરવામાં આવે છે, પરંતુ દરેકની ભાવના એકજ હોય છે કે હોળી પ્રગટાવી અને આસુરી તત્વોનો નાશ કરવો અને દૈવી શક્તિઓનું સન્માન કરવું. હોળીનાં બીજા દિવસે ધુળેટી મનાવાય છે. આ દિવસે સવારથી સૌ કોઇ એક બીજા પર અબિલ, ગુલાલ તેમજ કેસુડાનાં રંગો છાંટી પોતાનો ઉત્સાહ અને આનંદ વ્યક્ત કરે છે અને સાંજના સમયે કોઈ કોઈ સ્થાને ઉજાણી પણ કરે છે .

આપણાં મોટાભાગના તહેવારો પૌરાણિક કથાઓ સાથે સંકળાયેલા છે. આ બધી કથાઓ કે વાર્તાઓમાં કોઈ ને કોઈ ગહન આધ્યાત્મિક રહસ્ય છુપાયેલું છે.પર્વની ઉજવણીમાં આપણે વાર્તાઓને પકડી રાખી પરંતુ તેના મર્મને તેમજ આધ્યાત્મિક રહસ્યને ભૂલતા ગયા. આને કારણે તહેવારોની ઉજવણીમાં એક પ્રકારે વિકૃતિ આવતી ગઈ. હોળી પણ એમાનો એક છે. હોળીના પર્વ સાથે પણ અનેક કથાઓ સંકળાયેલી છે તેમાં મુખ્ય કથા ભક્ત પ્રહલાદની છે॰ પ્રાચીન કાળમાં હિરણ્યકશ્યપ નામનો અસુર બ્રહ્માજીના વરદાનને કારણે લગભગ અમર બની ગયો હતો. તે પોતાને ઈશ્વર માનવા લાગ્યો હતો. પોતાના રાજ્યમાં ઈશ્વરનું નામ લેવાની તેણે પાબંધી લગાવી દીધી હતી. હિરણ્યકશ્યપનો પુત્ર પ્રહલાદ ભગવાન વિષ્ણુનો નિષ્ઠાવાન ભક્ત હતો. પ્રહલાદની ઈશ્વર ભક્તિથી ક્રોધિત થઈને હિરણ્યકશ્યપે તેને અનેક પ્રકારના કઠોર કષ્ટો આપ્યા. આમ છતા તેણે ઈશ્વરની ભક્તિનો માર્ગ ના છોડયો. હિરણ્યકશ્યપની બહેન હોલિકાને એક વરદાન પ્રાપ્ત હતું.તેની પાસે એક એવી ઓઢણી હતી કે જે તેને ધારણ કરે તેને અગ્નિ પણ બાળી શકે નહીં. અંતે હિરણ્યકશ્યપે આદેશ કર્યો કે હોલિકા પ્રહલાદને પોતાના ખોળામાં બેસાડી આગ ચિતા પર બેસે જેથી પ્રહલાદ બળીને ખાક થઈ જાય. પ્રહલાદે પિતાની આજ્ઞાનું પાલન કર્યું અને પોતાના ઇષ્ટ વિષ્ણુને યાદ કર્યા. અંતે જ્યારે અગ્નિ પ્રગટાવવામાં આવ્યો ત્યારે પેલી ઓઢણી હોલિકાનાં મસ્તક પરથી ઉડી અને પ્રહલાદને વિંટળાઇ ગઈ, આથી હોલિકા અગ્નિમાં બળી અને ભસ્મ થઇ અને પ્રહલાદ સાજો સારો બહાર આવ્યો.આપણી બધી જ પૌરાણિક કથાઓ પ્રતિકાત્મક છે. ભક્ત પ્રહલ્લાદની આ વાર્તા પણ આપણને દિવ્ય સંદેશ આપે છે. પ્રહલાદનો અર્થ આનંદ થાય છે. હિરણ્યકશ્યપ તેમજ હોલિકા અહંકાર, વૈર તેમજ ઉત્પીડનનું પ્રતિક છે જે આગમાં ભસ્મ થઈ જાય છે અને પ્રેમ આનંદના પ્રતિક પ્રહલાદનું અસ્તિત્વ જળવાઈ રહે છે॰હોળી-ધૂળેટીના તહેવારના આવા તમામ આધ્યાત્મિક તેમજ સામાજિક રહસ્યોને સમજીને જો ઉત્સવની ઉજવણી કરીશું તો સ્વયંના તેમજ સર્વના હિતમાં સાર્થક રહેશે.
આજના સમય પર દ્રષ્ટિપાત કરીએ તો તમે જરૂર સંમત થશો કે આજનો આ વર્તમાન સમય એ કળીકાળનો ઘોર અંધકારનો તેમજ અતિ ધર્મગ્લાનિનો સમય ચાલી રહ્યો છે. આ સમયે સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં દુઃખ, અશાંતિ, ભય, ચિંતા, હિંસા,પાપચાર દુરાચાર ભ્રષ્ટાચાર વ્યાપેલો છે. આવા સમયે સ્વયં શિવ પરમાત્મા, ગીતામાં પોતે આપેલા વચન અનુસાર, સૃષ્ટિ પરીવર્તન અર્થે બ્રહ્માના તનમાં દિવ્ય અવતરણ કરી નવી સતયુગી દુનિયાની સ્થાપના કરી રહ્યા છે. વર્તમાન સમયે જ્યારે તેઓ બ્રહ્માના મુખ દ્વારા સત્ય જ્ઞાન તેમજ રાજયોગની શિક્ષા આપી આપણને કામ, ક્રોધ, લોભ, મોહ, અહંકાર જેવા મહાવિકારોથી મુક્ત કરી રહ્યા છે ત્યારે હોળી-ધૂળેટીનું મહત્વ વધી જાય છે. હોળી અગ્નિનું તેમજ હોલિકા વિકારોનું પ્રતિક છે. સાચા અર્થમાં હોળી મનાવવા ચાલો વર્તમાન સમયે પરમાત્મા શિવ, પ્રજાપિતા બ્રહ્માકુમારી ઈશ્વરીય વિશ્વ વિધ્યાલય દ્વારા જે જ્ઞાન-યોગની શિક્ષા આપી રહ્યા છે તેને સમજી, તેનું ચિંતન કરી અને જ્ઞાન તેમજ યોગ અગ્નિને પ્રજ્વલીત કરી આપણામાં રહેલા વિકારો,વિકર્મો અને કર્મબંધનોને ભસ્મ કરીએ અને આપણાં જીવનમાં દૈવી ગુણોને ધારણ કરીને આપણાં જીવનને શ્રેષ્ઠ બનાવીએ. જો આમ કરીશું તો જ આજના કનિષ્ઠ સમયે પણ પ્રહલાદની જેમ નિખરીને સલામત બહાર નિકળીશું. બીજા શબ્દોમાં આપણે આપણાં મનના નકારાત્મક વિચારોને તેમજ ભ્રષ્ટ વૃત્તિઓને જ્ઞાનરૂપી હોળીની અગ્નિમાં ભસ્મ કરી મનને નિર્મળ બનાવીએ.
પાનખર પછી વસંતની શરૂઆતમાં ઉજવાતા હોળીના તહેવારની ઉજવણીની જ્યારે શરૂઆત થઈ હશે ત્યારે કદાચ એવો ભાવ રહ્યો હોય કે પાનખર પછી સૂકા થઈ ગયેલા પાદડાં તેમજ વૃક્ષોનું દહન કરીએ તો સાફ સફાઈ થઈ જાય. પરંતુ જ્યારે આજે વૃક્ષોનું બેફામ નિકંદન થઈ રહ્યું છે, લાકડાની અછત ઊભી થઈ છે તેમજ પર્યાવરણની અનેક સમસ્યાઓ ઊભી થઈ રહી છે ત્યારે હોળીમાં ખુબજ કિંમતી તેમજ તેમજ અન્ય કામોમાં ખુબજ ઉપયોગી લાકડાને બાળી નાખવા કેટલું ઉચિત ગણાય? આધ્યાત્મિક રીતે જોવા જઈએ તો હોળીમાં કોઈ સ્થૂળ અગ્નિની વાત નથી પરંતુ પરમાત્મા પાસેથી પ્રાપ્ત થયેલ જ્ઞાન અગ્નિની વાત છે. જેને આપણાં મનમાં પ્રજ્વલિત કરી આપણામાં રહેલા વિકારોને તેમજ નકારાત્મકતાને ભસ્મ કરવાનો સંકેત છે.
ધૂળેટી અર્થાત રંગોત્સવ. આ દિવસે આપણે એકબીજા ઉપર વિવિધ સ્થૂળ રંગો છાંટીને આનંદ પ્રમોદ કરીએ છીએ. ભલે આપણે આ કરીએ પરંતુ રંગોત્સવનું વાસ્તવિક આધ્યાત્મિક રહસ્ય તો એ છે કે આપણે સતના સંગનો રંગ લગાવીએ, મીરાની જેમ પ્રભુના સંગના રંગમાં રંગાઈ જઈએ, જીવનમાં મૂલ્યોના તેમજ દિવ્ય ગુણોના રંગને લગાવીએ તો હોળીની ઉજવણી વધુ સાર્થક નીવડશે. આજે રંગ છાટવામાં પણ એટલી વિકૃતિ આવી ગઈ છે કે આજે મોટાભાગે કેમિકલ રંગોનો તેમજ અન્ય તત્વોનો ઉપયોગ થઈ રહ્યો છે જે આપણાં માટે ખુબજ નુકશાન કરતાં છે.
આજે આપણાં દરેક તહેવારની ઉજવણીમાં કોઈ ને કોઈ વિકૃતિ પણ જોવા મળે છે॰ ધૂળેટીમાં પણ ‘બુરા મત માનના હોલી હૈ’ ના ઓથા નીચે ક્યાંક વિકૃત માનસિકતા પણ પ્રત્યક્ષ થતી જોવા મળે છે. આજે લોકોમાં મનોવિકારોની માત્રા ઉત્તરોત્તર વધતી જાય છે. સામાન્ય સંજોગોમાં સમાજના ભયથી કે શાલીનતા વશ તે પૂર્ણ રૂપે પ્રગટ થતાં નથી. પરંતુ હોળીના દિવસે વ્યક્તિને સ્વતંત્રતા મળી જાય છે. હાસ,પરિહાસ, મશ્કરી, મસ્તીના માધ્યમથી ઘણી વખત તે પોતાની વાસનાઓને સંતોષતો હોય છે. વિકારી દ્રષ્ટિ-વૃત્તિથી હોળીના પવિત્ર પર્વની ભાવનાઓનું ક્યાંક ખંડન થતું જોવા મળે છે.
બ્રહ્માકુમારીઝ સંસ્થા હોળીનું વિશિષ્ટ અર્થઘટન કરે છે જે જાણવા જેવુ છે. હોળીને હિન્દીમાં ‘હોલી’ કહે છે. અંગ્રેજીમાં હોલી (holy)નો અર્થ પવિત્ર થાય છે. અર્થાત હોળીના દિવસોમાં આપણે આપણાં તન, મન, ધન અને બુધ્ધિની પવિત્રતાને જાળવી રાખીએ અને પવિત્રતાના સાગર પરમાત્મા શિવને યાદ કરીએ. હિન્દીમાં હોલીનો બીજો અર્થ ‘હો ગયા– થઈ ગયું’ એવો પણ થાય છે. એટલે કે જે કંઈ થઈ ગયું તેને ભૂલી જાઓ, Past is Past ભૂલી જાવો અને માફ કરો. મોટા ભાગે આપણે ભૂતકાળની ભૂતાવળોમાં તેમજ ભવિષ્યની ચિંતાઓમાં વધુ જીવતા હોઈએ છીએ. હોળીના આ અર્થઘટન સાથે આપણે વર્તમાનમાં જીવતા શિખવા અને વર્તમાન જીવનને સફળ કરવા રાજયોગના નિ:શુલ્ક અભ્યાસ માટે આપના નજદીકના બ્રહ્માકુમારીઝના સેવાકેન્દ્ર પર રોજ સવારે ૮.૦૦ થી ૧૧.૦૦ અને સાંજે ૪.૦૦ થી ૭.૦૦ દરમ્યાન પધારવા હાર્દિક ઇશ્વરીય નિમંત્રણ છે..

પાનખર પછી વસંતની શરૂઆતમાં ઉજવાતા હોળીના તહેવારની ઉજવણીની જ્યારે શરૂઆત થઈ હશે ત્યારે કદાચ એવો ભાવ રહ્યો હોય કે પાનખર પછી સૂકા થઈ ગયેલા પાદડાં તેમજ વૃક્ષોનું દહન કરીએ તો સાફ સફાઈ થઈ જાય. પરંતુ જ્યારે આજે વૃક્ષોનું બેફામ નિકંદન થઈ રહ્યું છે, લાકડાની અછત ઊભી થઈ છે તેમજ પર્યાવરણની અનેક સમસ્યાઓ ઊભી થઈ રહી છે ત્યારે હોળીમાં ખુબજ કિંમતી તેમજ તેમજ અન્ય કામોમાં ખુબજ ઉપયોગી લાકડાને બાળી નાખવા કેટલું ઉચિત ગણાય? આધ્યાત્મિક રીતે જોવા જઈએ તો હોળીમાં કોઈ સ્થૂળ અગ્નિની વાત નથી પરંતુ પરમાત્મા પાસેથી પ્રાપ્ત થયેલ જ્ઞાન અગ્નિની વાત છે. જેને આપણાં મનમાં પ્રજ્વલિત કરી આપણામાં રહેલા વિકારોને તેમજ નકારાત્મકતાને ભસ્મ કરવાનો સંકેત છે.
આજે આપણાં દરેક તહેવારની ઉજવણીમાં કોઈ ને કોઈ વિકૃતિ પણ જોવા મળે છે॰ ધૂળેટીમાં પણ ‘બુરા મત માનના હોલી હૈ’ ના ઓથા નીચે ક્યાંક વિકૃત માનસિકતા પણ પ્રત્યક્ષ થતી જોવા મળે છે. આજે લોકોમાં મનોવિકારોની માત્રા ઉત્તરોત્તર વધતી જાય છે. સામાન્ય સંજોગોમાં સમાજના ભયથી કે શાલીનતા વશ તે પૂર્ણ રૂપે પ્રગટ થતાં નથી. પરંતુ હોળીના દિવસે વ્યક્તિને સ્વતંત્રતા મળી જાય છે. હાસ,પરિહાસ, મશ્કરી, મસ્તીના માધ્યમથી ઘણી વખત તે પોતાની વાસનાઓને સંતોષતો હોય છે. વિકારી દ્રષ્ટિ-વૃત્તિથી હોળીના પવિત્ર પર્વની ભાવનાઓનું ક્યાંક ખંડન થતું જોવા મળે છે.
બ્રહ્માકુમારીઝ સંસ્થા હોળીનું વિશિષ્ટ અર્થઘટન કરે છે જે જાણવા જેવુ છે. હોળીને હિન્દીમાં ‘હોલી’ કહે છે. અંગ્રેજીમાં હોલી (holy)નો અર્થ પવિત્ર થાય છે. અર્થાત હોળીના દિવસોમાં આપણે આપણાં તન, મન, ધન અને બુધ્ધિની પવિત્રતાને જાળવી રાખીએ અને પવિત્રતાના સાગર પરમાત્મા શિવને યાદ કરીએ. હિન્દીમાં હોલીનો બીજો અર્થ ‘હો ગયા– થઈ ગયું’ એવો પણ થાય છે. એટલે કે જે કંઈ થઈ ગયું તેને ભૂલી જાઓ, Past is Past ભૂલી જાવો અને માફ કરો. મોટા ભાગે આપણે ભૂતકાળની ભૂતાવળોમાં તેમજ ભવિષ્યની ચિંતાઓમાં વધુ જીવતા હોઈએ છીએ. હોળીના આ અર્થઘટન સાથે આપણે વર્તમાનમાં જીવતા શિખવા અને વર્તમાન જીવનને સફળ કરવા રાજયોગના નિ:શુલ્ક અભ્યાસ માટે આપના નજદીકના બ્રહ્માકુમારીઝના સેવાકેન્દ્ર પર રોજ સવારે ૮.૦૦ થી ૧૧.૦૦ અને સાંજે ૪.૦૦ થી ૭.૦૦ દરમ્યાન પધારવા હાર્દિક ઇશ્વરીય નિમંત્રણ છે..
