શાહરૂખ એક એવા બોલીવુડ સુપરસ્ટાર છે જે ટ્વિટર પર પોતાના ટ્વિટર પર ખૂબ એક્ટિવ રહે છે. શાહરૂખના જન્મદિવસ પર ટ્વિટર પર #HBDWorldsBiggestStar ટ્રેંડ કરી રહ્યુ છે. ટ્વિટર પર શાહરૂખના અનેક ફેન્સે તેમને પોતાના પ્રેમનો એકરાર પણ કર્યો છે. શાહરૂખ પણ પોતાના આ ફેન્સનુ દિલ તોડવુ જાણતો નથી. એ તો પોતાના ફેંસના પ્રેમ ભર્યા ટ્વીટનો પ્યારો જવાબ પણ આપે છે.

નાનકડા પડદાં પરથી પોતાના કેરિયરની શરૂઆત કરીને બોલીવુડના સિંહાસન પર બેસનારા ફિલ્મ અભિનેતા શાહરૂખ ખાન આજે પણ સિને પ્રેમીઓના દિલો પર રાજ કરે છે.

ફિલ્મ ઈંડસ્ટ્રીમાં કિંગ ખાનના નામથી જાણીતા શાહરૂખ ખાનનો જન્મ 2 નવેમ્બર 1965ના રોજ દિલ્હીમાં થયો હતો. તેમના પિતા ટ્રાંસપોટ વ્યવસાય સાથે જોડાયેલા હતા. શાહરૂખનુ જીવન પર તેના પિતાનો વધુ પ્રભાવ છે. સામાન્ય રીતે છોકરાઓ તેમની માતા સાથે ભાવનાત્મકરૂપે વધુ જોડાયેલા હોય છે પણ શાહરૂખના જીવન પર તેમના પિતાનો પ્રભાવ વધુ હતો. માત્ર પંદર વર્ષની વયમાં જ પોતાના પિતાની ગુમાવવાનું દુ:ખ તેમને આજે પણ થાય છે. અભિનય શિખવા અને સંચારની વિવિધ વિદ્યાઓને નિકટથી સમજવા તેમણે જામિયા મિલિયા ઈસ્લામિયા વિશ્વવિદ્યાલયમાંથી સ્નાકોત્તરની ઉપાધિ ગ્રહણ કરી. વર્ષ 1988માં શાહરૂખ ખાને અભિનેતાના રૂપમાં નાનકડા પડદાં પર 'ફૌજી' દ્વારા પોતાના કેરિયરની શરૂઆત કરી.

નસીબ શાહરૂખ પર જરૂર કરતા વધુ મહેરબાન રહી. ઈશ્વર એક હાથે આપે છે તો બીજા હાથે લઈ પણ લે છે. શાહરૂખને પોતાની માતાનો વિયોગ પણ સહેવો પડ્યો. આ બેવડા આધાતને તેમની પત્ની ગૌરી અને બોલીવૂડની સફળતાએ ઓછો કર્યો.

શાહરૂખ પોતાના પિતા વિશે કહે છે કે તેઓ દેવ આનંદ જેવા જ ગોરા અને ઊંચા હતા. તેઓ જ્યારે પણ પોતાની તુલના પોતાના પિતા સાથે કરે છે તો ખુદને તેમની આગળ ખૂબ નીચે જુએ છે. તેઓ કહે છે કે હું બાળપણમાં અવ્યવ્સ્થિત વાળવાળો બદસૂરત છોકરો હતો. મને મારુ ફુલેલુ નાક અને જાડા હોઠ બિલકુલ ગમતા નથી. આજે વાત અલગ છે આજે શાહરૂખ એ મુકામ પર પહોંચ્યા છે જ્યા દરેક અભિનેતા નથી પહોંચી શકતો. આજે શાહરૂખના એ જ અવ્યવસ્થિત વાળમાં હાથ ફેરવવાની ઈચ્છા હેમા માલિની વ્યક્ત કરી ચુકી છે, અને શાહરૂખને ન ગમનારુ નાક આજે બોલીવૂડની પ્રતિષ્ઠા બની ચુક્યુ છે.

શાહરૂખની માતા તેમને ક્રિકેટર બનાવવાનું સપનુ જોતી હતી, પણ શાહરૂખને વ્યવસ્થિત રીતે રમવુ, ચાલવુ એ બધુ ગમતુ નહોતુ. તેમના નસીબમાં તો અભિનય જ લખ્યો હતો અને તેણે એને જ પ્રાથમિકતા આપી.

શાહરૂખની માતા શાહરૂખને છોટે દિલીપ કુમાર કહેતી હતી. તેની નજરમાં શાહરૂખનો નાક-નકશો અને તેના હાવભાવમાં દિલીપ કુમારનો પડછાયો જોવા મળતો હતો. શાહરૂખને પોતાની માતાના આ ઉદ્દગારો ત્યારે સાચા લાગ્યા જ્યારે સાયરાબાનુએ એકવાર કહ્યુ કે શાહરૂખ બિલકુલ તેમના પતિ જેવા જ લાગે છે. સાયરા બાનુ તો એટલે સુધી કહે છે કે જો તેમની અને દિલીપ કુમારની કોઈ સંતાન હોત તો તે બિલકુલ શાહરૂખ ખાન જેવી જ હોત.

શાહરૂખમાં દિલીપ કુમારને જોનારી તેમની માતા એક વાર મનમાં એક સ્વપ્નને લએને શાહરૂખને ફિલ્મ નિર્માતાઓ પાસે લઈ ગઈ પણ એવુ બે વાર બન્યુ કે શાહરૂખને બધી બાજુથી નિરાશા સાંપડી. '

હાસ્ય અભિનેતા મહેમૂદના પુત્ર મૈક અલીએ તો સ્પષ્ટ કહી દીધુ હતુ કે આ છોકરો બોલીવુડમાં નહી ચાલે. તેનો ફેસ જ ફિલ્મોને શૂટ થાય તેવો નથી. આ તો ક્યાયથી પણ ફોટોજનિક નથી લાગતો. પણ માતાએ જે સ્વપ્ન જોયુ હતુ પુત્રએ એ પુરૂ કરી બતાવ્યુ. આજે શાહરૂખની સફળતાને જોનારી તેમની માતા નથી પણ શાહરૂખને લાગે છે કે તેમની માતા આકાશમાં તારો બનીને જરૂર તેમને જોઈને ખુશ હશે.

શાહરૂખ ખાન પોતાના સિને કેરિયરમાં આઠ વાર સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ અભિનેતાનો ફિલ્મ ફેયર પુરસ્કાર મેળવ્યો. શાહરૂખ ખાન અને કાજોલની જોડીને દર્શકોએ ખૂબ પસંદ કરી. આજે કોઈ ફિલ્મમાં શાહરૂખનુ હોવુ જ સફળતાની ગેરંટી માનવામાં આવે છે. તાજેતરમાં જ શાહરૂખની ફિલ્મ 'ચેન્નઈ એક્સપ્રેસ' રજૂ થઈ છે. આ ફિલ્મ ટિકિટ બારી પર 230 કરોડ રૂપિયાનો શાનદાર વેપાર કરી બોલીવુડના ઈતિહાસની સર્વાધિક કમાણી કરનારી ફિલ્મ બની ચુકી છે.
