ભારે હિમવર્ષા, બરફથી ઢંકાયેલ શિખરો, ઠંડા પવનોથી મસુરીમાં ઠંડી વધવા પામી છે

દહેરાદૂન. ગુરુવારે ઉત્તરાખંડના મસૂરીમાં હિમવર્ષા થઈ હતી. જોકે વરસાદને કારણે બરફ વધુ સમય ટકી શક્યો નહીં. ધનૌલ્ટિ, ચક્રતામાં ઉંચી શિખરો બરફની સફેદ ચાદરથી ઢંકાયેલી હતી. પ્રવાસીઓ અહીં પહોંચ્યા બાદ બરફવર્ષાની મજા માણતા જોવા મળ્યા હતા. દહેરાદૂનમાં વરસાદ અને ઠંડા પવનોને કારણે ઠંડી વધવા પામી છે. ધનૌલ્ટિ વિસ્તારમાં સારા હિમવર્ષા થઈ હતી, જ્યારે મસુરીમાં બરફના અભાવને કારણે પ્રવાસીઓ અને હોટલિયર્સને નિરાશ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
સવારથી બપોર બે વાગ્યા સુધી મસૂરીના લાલ ટેકરાઓ માં તૂટક તૂટક વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. પરંતુ બરફ જમીન પર ટકી શક્યો નહીં.
 
માત્ર વૃક્ષો નક્કી કરાયા હતા. બપોરના બે વાગ્યા પછી હળવા તડકો પણ થયો હતો. સુરકાંડા, ધનોલતી અને નાગ ટીબ્બાની ઉંચી ટેકરીઓ બરફથી ઢંકાયેલી છે. બરફવર્ષાની જાણ થતાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં પ્રવાસીઓ ધનૌલટી પહોંચ્યા હતા.
 
બુરાન્સખંડ, તુર્તુરિયા અને ધનૌલતીમાં પ્રવાસીઓએ ભારે બરફવર્ષાની મજા માણી છે. ધનૌલતીમાં પાંચથી છ ઇંચ બરફ પડ્યો હતો.ચક્રતા વિસ્તારમાં હિમવર્ષાની શરૂઆત થઈ હતી. લોખંડી, દેવબન, ખાડંબા, મોયલા, ટોપ વ્યાસ શિખર વગેરે વિસ્તારોના ઉંચાઇવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં છ ઇંચ જેટલો બરફ એકઠો થયો છે. ચક્રતા કેન્ટોનમેન્ટ માર્કેટ અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારોમાં એકથી ત્રણ ઇંચ બરફ પડેલો છે.
 
હિમવર્ષાએ પ્રદેશના તાપમાનમાં તીવ્ર ઘટાડો નોંધાવ્યો છે. મહત્તમ તાપમાન ચાર અને લઘુત્તમ માઇનસ એક નોંધાયું હતું. અહીં કડકડતી શિયાળો છે ઉત્તરાખંડમાં હવામાન વિભાગે પીળો ચેતવણી જારી કરી વરસાદ અને બરફવર્ષાની સંભાવના વ્યક્ત કરી છે.
 
ઉત્તરાખંડ હવામાન નિયામક બિક્રમ સિંહના જણાવ્યા મુજબ, શુક્રવારે હવામાન ગુરુવાર જેવું જ રહેવાની સંભાવના છે, તેમ ઉત્તરાખંડ હવામાન નિયામક બિક્રમ સિંઘે જણાવ્યું છે. આ વરસાદ અને બરફવર્ષા જોવા મળશે.
 
ઉચ્ચ ઉંચાઇવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં સારો બરફ મળી શકે છે, જ્યારે મેદાનોમાં વરસાદ થવાથી તાપમાનમાં ઘટાડો થશે. ડિઝાસ્ટર મેનેજમેન્ટ વિભાગ, પોલીસ અને એડમિનિસ્ટ્રેશનને જાગૃત રહેવાનું કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે, કારણ કે આ સમયગાળા દરમિયાન જામ અને બરફવર્ષાને કારણે રસ્તાઓ લપસણો બની શકે છે.
