Naraka Chaturdashi Choti Diwali 2021: छोटी दिवाली के बाद ही दीपावली के पर्व मनाया जाता है। धनतेरस के बाद छोटी दिवाली आती है। नरक चतुर्दशी अर्थात छोटी दिवाली के दिन क्या क्या कार्य करते हैं आओ जानते हैं इस संबंध में 10 खास बातें।
1. नरक चतुर्दशी के दिन सुबह जल्दी उठकर उबटन आदि लगाकर अच्छे से स्नान किया जाता है और फिर महत्वपूर्ण पूजा की जाती है। इस दिन सूर्योदय से पूर्व उठकर स्नान करने का महत्व है। कहते हैं इससे रूप में निखार आ जाता है। स्नान के लिए कार्तिक अहोई अष्टमी के दिन एक तांबे के लौटे में जल भरकर रखा जाता है और उसे स्नान के जल में मिलाकर स्नान किया जाता है। मान्यता के अनुसार ऐसा करने से नरक के भय से मुक्ति मिलती है। स्नान के दौरान तिल के तेल से शरीर की मालिश करें और उसके बाद औधषीय पौधा अपामार्ग अर्थात चिरचिरा को सिर के ऊपर से चारों ओर 3 बार घुमाने का प्रचलन है। स्नान के बाद दक्षिण दिशा की ओर हाथ जोड़कर यमराज से प्रार्थना करें। ऐसा करने से संपूर्ण वर्ष के पापों का नाश हो जाता है।

2. इस दिन श्रीकृष्क और सत्यभामा की पूजा की जाती है, क्योंकि इसी दिन नरकासुर का वध करने के बाद द्वारिका में उत्सव मनाया गया था। सत्यभामा ने ही नरकासुर के वध में श्रीकृष्ण का साथ दिया था। इस दिन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा करने से सौंदर्य की प्राप्ति होती है।
3. कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी को मासिक शिवरात्रि का व्रत रखा जाता है। अत: इस दिन शिवजी की उपासना भी की जाती है।
4. इस दिन एक मान्यता के अनुसार हनुमान जन्मोत्सव भी मनाया जाता है। अत: हनुमानजी की पूजा भी की जाती है।
5. इस दिन यम पूजा और यम के निमित्त दीपदान करने का प्रचलन भी है। इस दिन यमराज के लिए तेल का दीया घर के मुख्य द्वार से बाहर की ओर लगाएं।
6. इस दिन भगवान वामन ने राजा बलि को पाताल लोक का राजा बना दिया था। इसी की याद में वामन पूजा भी होती है। बलि ने वरदान मांगा था कि मेरे राज्य में चतुर्दशी के दिन यमराज के निमित्त दीपदान करेगा, उसे यम यातना नहीं होनी चाहिए और जो व्यक्ति इन तीन दिनों में दीपावली का पर्व मनाए, उनके घर को लक्ष्मीजी कभी न छोड़ें। ऐसे वरदान दीजिए।
7. इस दिन माता कालिका की पूजा भी की जाती है। कहते हैं माता काली का इस दिन जन्म हुआ था।
8. इस दिन शाम के समय सभी देवताओं की पूजन के बाद तेल के दीपक जलाकर घर की चौखट के दोनों ओर और घर के बाहर रख दें। ऐसा करने से लक्ष्मीजी का घर में निवास हो जाता है।
9. इस दिन निशीथ काल (अर्धरात्रि का समय) में घर से बेकार के सामान फेंक देना चाहिए। इससे दरिद्रता का नाश हो जाता है।

10. नरक चतुर्दशी पूजा विधि :
1. इन 6 देव की होती है पूजा : इस दिन यमराज, श्रीकृष्ण, काली माता, भगवान शिव, रामदूत हनुमान और भगावन वामन की पूजा की जाती है।
2. घर के ईशान कोण में ही पूजा करें। पूजा के समय हमारा मुंह ईशान, पूर्व या उत्तर में होना चाहिए। पूजन के समय पंचदेव की स्थापना जरूर करें। सूर्यदेव, श्रीगणेश, दुर्गा, शिव और विष्णु को पंचदेव कहा गया है।
3. इस दिन उपरोक्त 6 देवों की षोडशोपचार पूजा करना चाहिए। अर्थात 16 क्रियाओं से पूजा करें। पाद्य, अर्घ्य, आचमन, स्नान, वस्त्र, आभूषण, गंध, पुष्प, धूप, दीप, नेवैद्य, आचमन, ताम्बुल, स्तवपाठ, तर्पण और नमस्कार। पूजन के अंत में सांगता सिद्धि के लिए दक्षिणा भी चढ़ाना चाहिए।
4. इसके बाद सभी के सामने धूप, दीप जलाएं। फिर उनके के मस्तक पर हलदी कुंकू, चंदन और चावल लगाएं। फिर उन्हें हार और फूल चढ़ाएं। पूजन में अनामिका अंगुली (छोटी अंगुली के पास वाली यानी रिंग फिंगर) से गंध (चंदन, कुमकुम, अबीर, गुलाल, हल्दी आदि) लगाना चाहिए। इसी तरह उपरोक्त षोडशोपचार की सभी सामग्री से पूजा करें। पूजा करते वक्त उनके मंत्र का जाप करें।
5. पूजा करने के बाद प्रसाद या नैवेद्य (भोग) चढ़ाएं। ध्यान रखें कि नमक, मिर्च और तेल का प्रयोग नैवेद्य में नहीं किया जाता है। प्रत्येक पकवान पर तुलसी का एक पत्ता रखा जाता है।
6. अंत में उनकी आरती करके नैवेद्य चढ़ाकर पूजा का समापन किया जाता है।
7. मुख्य पूजा के बाद अब मुख्य द्वार या आंगन में प्रदोष काल में दीये जलाएं। एक दीया यम के नाम का भी जलाएं। रात्रि में घर के सभी कोने में भी दीए जलाएं।
