દત્ત ભગવાનની કથા

એકવાર માતા લક્ષ્મી, પાર્વતી અને સરસ્વતીને પોતાના પતિવ્રતા પર અત્યંત ગર્વ થઈ ગયો. ભગવાને તેમનો અહંકાર નષ્ટ કરવા માટે લીલા રચી. તેના મુજબ એક દિવસ નારદજી ફરતા ફરતા દેવલોક પહોંચ્યા અને ત્રણેય દેવીઓને વારાફરતી જઈને કહ્યુ કે ઋષિ અત્રિની પત્ની અનુસૂયાની સામે તમારુ સતીત્વ કશુ જ નથી.
