જીવનની દરેક પરિસ્થિતિને અનૂકૂળ બનાવે છે આ વ્રત

જીવનમાં આવતી પ્રતિકૂળ પરિસ્થિતિને અનૂકૂળ બનાવવા માટે ચૈત્ર માસમાં કૃષ્ણ પક્ષની દશમી તિથિને દશામાંનો વ્રતનો વિધાન છે. એવું માનવામાં આવે છે કે
આ ઉપવાસ જીવનની દરેક સમસ્યાને દૂર કરે છે. સૌભાગ્યશાળી સ્ત્રીઓ, હોળીના દસમા દિવસ આ વ્રત તેમના પતિના લાંબા જીવન માટે આ ઉપવાસ રાખે છે. 
આ દિવસે પીપલની પૂજા કરવામાં આવે છે. સુહાગિન સ્ત્રીઓ પૂજા પછી પૂજાન સ્થળ પર નાલ-દમાયાંનીની વાર્તા સાંભળે છે. આ દિવસે ઘર સાફ કરવા માટે 
ઝાડુ ખરીદવાનો નિયમ છે. આ દિવસે, પીપલની છાલને ઘરે લાવવામાં આવે છે અને તે સલામત રીતે તિજોરીમાં રાખવામાં આવે છે.
 
આ ઉપવાસમાં એક જ પ્રકારનો અન્ન ગ્રહણ કરાય છે. ખોરાક મીઠું ન હોવો જોઈએ. ખાસ કરીને ખોરાકમાં ઘઉંનો ઉપયોગ કરવો. આ વ્રત ઉજામણ થતું નથી,  
 
સમગ્ર જીવનકાળ દરમિયાન આ વ્રત રાખી શકાય છે.  નવા પરણેલાઓ માટે, આ દિવસે લગ્નની વસ્ત્રો પહેરવા માટે ફરજિયાત ગણવામાં આવે છે. દશામા 
પૂજાથી ઘરમાં થી દરિદ્રતા અને ગરીબી દૂર હોય છે.
