ભગવાન શિવને પ્રિય બિલીપત્ર વિશે આટલું ધ્યાન રાખશો તો ક્યારેય નહી રહે ધનની ઉણપ

બિલીપત્રનું ચમત્કારી ઝાડ  દરેક મનોકામના પૂરી કરે છે. એટલું  જ આ પાનને ગંગાજળથી ધોઈને બજરંગબલીને અર્પિત કરવાથી તીર્થોનું  લાભ ફળ મળે છે. 
આ  વિશે તુલસીદાસજીએ ભગવાન શ્રીરામ પાસેથી કહેવડાવ્યુ કે- જે શિવનો દ્રોહ કરીને મને મેળવવા ઈચ્છે છે એ સપનામાં પણ મને પામી શકે નહી. 
 
બિલીપત્રની મૂળ સફેદ દોરામાં પિરોવીને રવિવારે પગમાં પહેરવાથી રક્તચાપ , ક્રોધ અને અસાધ્ય રોગોમાંથી છુટકારો મળશે. 
 
બિલ્વપત્રને શ્રીવૃક્ષ પણ કહેવાય છે. બિલ્વ પત્રના પૂજન પાનથી  દરિદ્રતાના અંત લાવીને વૈભવશાળી બની શકાય છે  

ઘરમાં બિલ્વપત્ર લગાવવાથી દેવી મહાલક્ષ્મી ખૂબ પ્રસન્ન થાય છે.  બિલપત્રના પાનને લક્ષ્મીનું  રૂપ ગણાય છે. એને પોતાની પાસે રાખવાથી ક્યારે પણ ધનની ઉણપ નહી આવે. 
બિલ્વપત્ર કે બેલપત્ર ભગવાન શિવને ખૂબ પ્રિય છે. કહેવાય  છે કે શિવને બિલ્વપત્ર ચઢાવવાથી લક્ષ્મીની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય છે. બિલ્વપત્રના પાનની એ  વિશેષતા છે કે આ ત્રણના સમૂહમાં જ મળે છે. 
 
* બિલ્વપત્રને મહાદેવના રૂપ ગણાય છે. એવી માન્યતા છે કે બિલ્વના ઝાડમાં મહાદેવનો વાસ હોય છે આથી ઝાડના મૂળમાં મહાદેવની પૂજા કરાય છે. એટલું જ નહી કહેવાય છે કે બિલ્વ ઝાડને સિંચવાથી તીર્થોનું  ફળ મળે છે. પણ બિલ્વ પત્રને ગમે ત્યારે તોડી શકાતા નથી. 

* શિવ ઉપાસનાનો મુખ્ય દિવસ મતલબ સોમવારે બિલ્વપત્ર તોડવુ જોઈએ નહી. 
* ચતુર્થી, અષ્ટમી, નવમી,  ચતુર્દશી અને અમાસને દિવસે બિલપત્ર તોડવુ નહી.  
 
* કોઈ માસની સંક્રાતિના દિવસે પણ બિલપત્ર  ન તોડવા જોઈએ. જો આ તિથિઓમાં શિવપૂજામાં બિલપત્રની  જરૂર હોય તો એ માટે એક નિયમ છે કે તમે શિવપૂજામાં ઉપયોગ કરેલ બિલપત્રને ફરીથી ધોઈને શિવને અર્પિત કરી શકો છો.
